i'm assuming most of the people at the game were miami fans, considering the game was in miami

do you think the majority would rather have wanted to see lebron or have the heat win?

they could have had both but it was much easier without lebron

Really? Are u really making that argument? The sport is marketed by their stars. Lebron is the biggest star in the league. Fans flock to watch Cavs games because of him. He was also a former Heat player. If he was going to rest(Which I don't approve, injuries aside), it should have been against the 4-15 Pelicans...not a conference rival.

You know it is the opposite right? When you have the choice you're supposed to play against the worse team and rest against the better team.

Also, lol at conference rival. What does that even mean? It's not like the Cavs care if they drop out of the first seed, which they probably won't.

You're just coming off as bitter.

yea the sport is marketed by their stars so what? Miami is now sitting in 1st place because they were able to beat the cavs last night, which might not have happened with lebron in the lineup. Maybe the fans not affiliated with a team who were there wanted to see lebron but the majority, whether hardcore or not, were happy that the heat won.

Besides the fact that you're a heat fan and could hold some animosity towards James for leaving... it is slightly ironic what your opinion on this is. Is Wade not on a "maintenance" program as the team would put it? If not then he has been in the past. Do you disagree with this? I'm sure there are games where Wade could have played but decided it was better to rest his body. What's the difference?

I was just about to come in and say, Wade takes off all the time and people pay to see him. What's that Heat fan even talking about?

Apparently Lebron went to Space afterhours afterwards, Did two mdma's and a quarter speed. Danced the night away with Delly and Varejao, Glow sticks and all.

I'm surprised this thread is still open, if it wasn't apparent already, the TC was trolling, he's not even participating in the thread any more. Got roasted too bad to return.
Or maybe he's out partying and drinking alcohol in some nightclub instead of doing his duty of posting here, absolutely appalling.

So, what's the news?

NBA player go to party until early morning? so what?

NBA play in the evening.
NBA players sleep in the morning, training in afternoon, work in evening.
Of course their free time had to be late night - early morning.
KC: Do you still think your a championship caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if i'm wrong
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

Some people get mad at people partying night before games (which I really dont get considering 99% of NBA games are at night so they are easily fine by gametime the next day).

Partying after a game with no game the next day. Wow. Too much.

I can't determine the proper level of outrage that I should have until I know wether Lebron made it to church on Sunday?

lol do people really believe this? LeBron played in his team's first 3 B2Bs this season and this is the earliest he's missed a game due to "rest" in his entire career. He was also 0-2 in Miami to a much weaker Heat team last season...

Who cares.

Klay Thompson and the beloved Kawhi Leonard have both missed games for rest this season.

Both players are in their 20's. If nobody is going to make a fuss over them... why a soon to be 31 year old James?

I don't understand why stars have to entertain, when other guys can save themselves all season and be fresh for the playoffs.

James should do this more IMO.

As long as his checks keep clearing on the 1st and the 15th, I am sure he will be alright.

so..stress on the body of playing an nba game is same as staying up late, perhaps drinking more than usual.
