Bruh who Durant does or doesn't look like won't be an issue for OKC in the off season.

Bold statement, and expected. Luckily, you'll likely be wrong.

Oh, and "sick burn bruh". But you're wrong.

Not even for the vet minimum. The foolishness and negative atmosphere he creates wherever he goes has long since surpassed whatever value he brings as a player. In basketball team chemistry matters - Dwight Howard's negatives outweigh his positives. He can still be a productive player - but I wouldn't want him anywhere near my team.

Man this board really doesn't like Dwight. These past years in Houston he's been nothing but a professional I don't see any character issues.

if he leaves Houston, it's going to be for more money and more opportunities to show off his terrible post moves, so no.

Howard = Beasley. Talented players that will not help their teams win anything.

If I can have him for $12 million a year and he isn't going to whine to the media and play like he thinks he's "the man," sure.

So no, I wouldn't.

Personally would love him on the team especially as a defensive specialist who can take over on offense every once in a while..

As a second or even third option, probably not so much

Also another thing to consider is salary..i am pretty sure most fans would hate to have him being paid like the star he used to be.

Lacob and Co wanted Dwight. He is not the passers Bogut is but can score rebound and defend. I'd take him for 15 mil.

Our mascot position is full. Don't think we are looking to add a clown.

I'll take guaranteed ways to destroy team chemistry for $1000 Alex.

Really not even for the vet min? Sounds like you are not cut out for a good GM, because you post with a lot of emotion and mix it with some really dumb statement, even if it's a use of exaggeration.

For the 3 years Dwight has been here, he has been a professional. He was our best post season performer in both years, battling with numerous injuries. At this age he is still a excellent rebounder, rim protector. He alters shots. He stopped demanding the ball, with the 4th ranked FGA on the team. He is focusing on defense, while taking lot of the blame he shouldn't be because of our terrible perimeter D.

He does come with bags because of his goofy character. His post moves are unreliable lot of the time, high turnovers, missing free throws while getting hacked. Nobody is saying he deserves the max, I don't even think he should get 15m per. But he is definitely not as bad as what you described, especially chemistry wise.

Mind you, Golden State was pitching him 3 years ago, while his body was worse than now.

Don't think most teams will want to pay him the max for a long time just for fear of his health. He does make sense on a team like Atlanta if they lose Horford.

Clippers have no need for a player liek Dwight.

Depends on who my coach was.. I highly doubt Dwight would be as stubborn under a guy like Pop as he is under Bickerstaff.. He clearly has talent and isn't too old (yet).. It'd be taking a very high risk, but he's worth it if you can get him to buy into the system..

It depends on what kind of Dwight you'll be getting for the vet minimum. A version of Dwight willing to take vet minimum doesn't really exist. Part of his problems seem to stem from his desire to be the leader, to be the man. A Dwight Howard that takes the vet minimum is a guy that's now ok with not being the man, or is a guy that know's he not worth much and it taking a low contract. He's been a problem every single place he's ever gone in his career and his ability as of late doesn't seem to translate to team success. If you're talking about a magical version of Dwight that will take the minimum, play his hardest, and not cause any problems... sure... you'd be a dumb GM not to take that deal. But that Dwight doesn't exist. If I were the GM of a title contending team and Dwight suddenly wanted to come over for the minimum, I'd be immediately suspicious.

Ehh depends on the contract and his role on the team. He cannot be 1st and 2nd option on my team, too unreliable. Plus, I would like a decent stable of backup bigs behind him because he won't stay on the court.

I don't think he has it in him to be a role player and ultimately that's what you need from him at this point.

Someone who will come in, rebound, block shots and score on PnR, lobs and put backs. He'd be one of the most effective players in the game if he just focused on that.
