This is not the firs time we see you baiting OKC franchise as a whole or the city itself. Do not continue.

Bogut and Barnes were the two guys who openly talked about the disrespect of seeking to change a team that's a GOAT contender.
Both are gone. It's a cruel world lol.
That's why the warrior players are douchey and I dont get why people are on the bandwagon when steph curry and draymond think they're entitled to everything. Curry was def not the same player that I followed at davidson, his ego on another level, robbed lebron of 2 MVPS because of the media and their hype.

If Lebron doesn't set the FA trend, I don't think this ever happens. KD doesn't have the audacity to make this move if the first Big 3 never happens.
Don't get too attached to any players, prepare for more of this the next decade.
For the record, I love GSW and I love Durant so I couldn't be happier..
nahhh, celtics 2008 set that for example for sure KG-PP-allen. they are the original big 3

Winning 4 rings with GS won't make anyone a top 10 player. Durant and Curry assured that they will never reach that level.

This is more like if Pedro joined the Yankees after losing to them in 2003

They never were going to be top 10 players of all time anyway. .

Rodman left the Bad boys Pistons to join the Bulls. He helped the Bulls win 3 more rings and cemented himself as a HOF player.
I don't think KD wants to be the #1 all time, he wants to be a HOF'er, a first ballot HOF'er. He gets that with rings, he doesn't want to be a Barkley, Malone, Stockton, Ewing. Those guys are never considered to be the best of the best.

The Rodman comparison isn't even remotely close to a Barkely, Malone, Stockton, or Ewing. Rodman was a great player, but more of a piece, not the star player like the aforementioned. Besides, Dennis went to San Antonio after Detroit, then to Chicago.

Completely different situation. Boston had young talent and assets that they were willing to give up to bring in KG+Ray. They were in their 30's, which made it possible for Ainge to hit them right when they were ready to rebuild. KG and Ray didn't force their ways out too if I remember.

Originally he had left the Pistons to go join the Bulls, who beat them.

I don't care where Rodman ended up after his time with the Bulls. Everyone sees him as a champion, a winner. He left his Pistons to win more rings. I personally do not care what Durants legacy ends up being, but I can pretty much see where he's coming from. He's 9 years into his career, no rings, and knows he doesn't have all the time in the world to get them. Westbrook may be gone, and then it's an entire reset. If he ends up winning 3-4 rings, he'll solidify himself, regardless of how it happened, as one of the best to play.

No he didn't. Detroit traded him to San Antonio and after that didn't work out he was traded to the Bulls. Both teams got rid of him because he had become a cancer, he never left to chase rings.

Sooooo much hypocrisy on this board. KG, Pierce and Allen joined to win a championship. Shaq joined Kobe and the Laker to win championships. LB, Wade and Bosh got together and rubbed it into the NBA worlds face. THEN LB returns on a team with Irving....adds Love.....
Warriors built a championship level team as organically as possible....draft picks and clever signings over several years. Home grown championship grooming.
And so many of the posters here started to hate them for what...because Curry showboats? Cause Green is a dick? lol
Bottom line here is a ton of haters and jealousy. To suggest that Durant should stay on a team that will likely lose Thunder next year is stupid.
Get over it...watch the show...hope your GM's are smart enough to compile the team the Warriors have.

Re: KD to GS - Pt III
But where is the cutoff though of how weak a team has to be for a premier player to be able to join a team without being labeled as weak? If he would have joined the Celtics, it would have seemed unfair to other teams in the East that now an up and coming team like the Celtics just lured Horford and Durant over to join their core. Does a team have to had missed the playoffs the year before for people to respect that player's move and drive to challenge himself? Does that player get to actually go to a winning situation for himself without getting crapped on?
In response to post from NFMOS in KD to GS Part II :
If you read my post earlier in this thread, the fault of what happened is not with the Warriors, it is with the NBA. Much like the NBA turns a blind eye towards tanking, they failed to recognize and react to simple mathematic projections - things that could have been foreseen during CBA negotiations. So in the past when the Celtics Big Three got together and rolling, all three, starting with KG taking several million off of his Minnesota contract, when he re-signed with Boston, made sacrifices and they had to draft Rondo and incorporate his rookie salary. Subsequently Wade, Bosh and James took less money, to the point that Wade, is having trouble with it now......and that's supposed to be the point. It should be painful and difficult to add stars for the health of the NBA and that all teams have a chance. In the NHL hard decisions have to be made by championship teams all the time including letting your best players go. It seems like the NBA's failures have set-up a nice plug-and-play superstar windfall for the Warriors for a long time with the NBA asleep at the wheel.
So the issue isn't what the Celtics or Warriors did in the off-season. They did exactly what they should under the rules. It is up to the NBA to govern properly and have foresight. Sterling got lots of pats on the back with the lay-up of a decision with Donald Sterling. He needs to stop living off of easy decisions and earn his pay - or you'll have even more teams looking to try to lose to get better rather than trying to win. Philadelphia will be the model over Golden State because the odds are higher

Like Ronaldo quitting Real Madrid for Barcelona after he lost in the Champions League final. Really gutless stuff.

Which NBA were you watching? Rodman went from the Pistons, to the Spurs, then to the Bulls. And people remember him more for being a rebounder, a weirdo who wore dresses, and screwing Madonna. Dennis' act was wearing thin by the time he got to SA. The Bulls took a chance on after they lost Horace Grant to Free Agency a year or two prior. I'm curious, how old are you? Are you reading something or did you actually live in the years Rodman was in his prime??? Dennis won championships, I'll give you that, but his off the court antics overshadowed his on the court success.
