Yup. Those who blindly hate him for doing this are hypocrites imo and aren't objective at all. None of them would reject the chance to work in a better workplace and live in a much better city. None would reject the chance to be happier in another place. For those who say, "but he could have gone to the Celtics", that doesn't make any sense as well. Why would he not play with his friends (Curry, Dray and Iggy) and play with people who are completely new to him in Boston? Why would he play for the less fun team? Why would he play for an inferior team? That doesn't make any sense. OKC would never be that relevant in the NBA without Durant. The man did a lot of good to OKC and its community but no, he is obviously the worst human being now. Any good he did to Oklahoma is completely forgotten. It's crazy how ungrateful some people can be.
Fans (and haters) just want what pleases them which is what is "right" means in their minds. Durant did nothing illegal by going to GS and he had every right to do so. Just like any other human being who gets an offer from a superior company. Speaking of competitiveness, if Durant wasn't competitive, he would never be the superstar that he is in the first place. Anyone who is at the top of his profession (and started like anyone else) is a competitive person. Denying that is stupid. Durant worked extremely hard to be where he is. If he wasn't a competitive person, why the hell would he work hard to be the best player that he can be?
