Re: All-Premature Reactions Thread
Wizards are sure to unintentionally tank, GM Grunfeld will trade next year's 1st (for, say, Monta Ellis or similar) to give the team "a needed jolt," and the team improves just enough to surrender the protected pick while missing the playoffs. If it's top-7 protected, it'll be the 8th pick, if it's top-10 protected, it'll be the 11th pick, etc. Hamster wheel, I tell you.
The Spurs may not make it WCF.

If the Spurs can not find a PG , the may be a first round exit in their playoff Future. They are also severely lacking on Offensive Rebounds . LaMarcus Alridge and Pau Gasol are showing me a lot of concerns . Pop really needs them to focus on the glass or to make a trade for rebound specialist. They should probably give up a pick or two if they want to find decent PG , switching patty mills to the starting role will only help so much,. . I know its early but these are some glaring holes the Spurs have on the roster right now.

Spurs/Clips blow it up after this year.
Pop retires.
GSW realizes Bogut was a big loss to the team.

The Celtics made one of the biggest blunders in NBA history by not trading the Nets picks, banking on the Nets being horrible. Accordingly, both the 2017 and the 2018 picks will plummet in value.

The Orlando Magic are probably the most hopeless team in professional basketball right now.

You are very kind, but we barely escaped Philly with a W without Noel, Okafor, or Simmons playing... it's going to be a long season.

Re: All-Premature Reactions Thread
Faigen in podcast just said that Lakers in first 4 games hits only 17,2% open shots (worst in the league, 29th Magic hits around 25%).
So early prediction - Lakers over 35W.

So When Do We Acknowledge A.Bradley As A Star?
How long does he need to keep up this amazing level of 2 way, and all around play before he gets the upgrade from role player to Star status?

It's been a pleasure watching him develop over the years. Started as a guy that could just defend, evolved into a 3 and D guy, then developed his ability to drive and handle the ball, now his playmaking ability is coming together as well. If he keeps up what he's doing so far this season, he'll certainly be worthy of ALL-NBA honors.

Once he
A. Continues to stay consistent throughout the quarters (as he himself admitted he needs to improve on)
B. Continues to put up relative numbers of a longer period of time.
C. Continues to stay relatively injury free.
Really happy with what I've seen so far though.

Re: So When Do We Acknowledge A.Bradley As A Star?
No doubt he's had a great start, but if I'm Boston I'm pretty concerned about how bad they have been defensively. I don't think they have the offensive talent to outscore teams in the long run and certainly not in the playoffs. Hopefully Smart coming back will help a bit, but Bradley and Crowder need to both remember their way into this league was defense and to not put too much emphasis on the offensive end of the floor.
