Guess the Hornets are hoping or planning to resurrect Plumlee's career and get production from him. We'll see how that works out.

Hibbert could be literally incapable of moving even an inch and I'd still happily take that for half a year than pay Plumlee $50 million.

This might open up our ability to use the MLE this summer, but I'm not 100% sure. The trade makes a lot more sense if it can be viewed as Plumlee+MLE player for Hibbert+Hawes.

Not sure if we're that smart though.

Eh, in terms of on court production, this really doesn't change anything for anyone.

As a Bucks fan I'm torn.

I'm ecstatic the Bucks were able to dump arguably the worst NBA contract ever. But I feel so bad for Hornets fans. How could an NBA front office possibly imagine this as a good idea?

What a steal for the Bucks. They get out from under that terrible Plume contract and might have got the 2 best Centers in the deal. Are we sure there's not a 1st round pick heading to Charlotte?

That they would find some sucker GM that would confuse the Plumlees and take him off their hands in case he got even worse this year (spoiler alert: HE DID!)

Congrats Milwaukee. Awesome trade for you. Charlotte, on the other hand, I don't even...

I don't get why everyone hates Plumlee so much? When he receives playing time, he's pretty productive for a backup big. 13m for a backup center is the new normal, get used to it. And considering the Hornets wouldn't be able to sign anyone anytime soon being capped out, they did well here in sending away two has-beens for someone who still has a shot at producing in the future.

Great trade for MIL. Plum's contraact is bad, but it was insane that realgm voted his contract like the 4th worst contract in the league and judged it almost untradeable. 13 mil/year is bad for him, but isn't team destroying and isn't for a broken down player or 1 with huge character flaws.

How is this the same GM that actually signed Plumlee to that contract? Seriously. I mean it is like jekyl and Hyde. Hammond is the most (Please Use More Appropriate Word) GM in the league at some points and then he is the best gm at some points.

This is actually a make up for being a total (Please Use More Appropriate Word) but still how does he swing this deal?

I would also love to know how the negotiations got started. Did Hammond call Cho? Cho call Hammond? How the hell did this go down?
