Losing one of your starters again because of the same (possibly dirty) play by THE. SAME. GUY. in the second round of the playoffs, two years apart... You'd be salty too, don't even try and say you wouldnt be.

Please. Horford is just goofy and he has a wide stance in just about every basketball play he's involved in whether it's shooting or defending.

A dirty player would have ripped delladova's head off in that situation after seeing him end Korver's season the game before and then having the same move tried on him.

How about accepting a loss and not trying to build some false narrative every time your team loses.

cavs are without bogut already, the guy who was on the 2015 title team and was the reason warriors lost last years finals because he got hurt.

I'm not making excuses for the loss. It's 100% on the Wizards and we would have lost with a healthy Morris on the court too. Defense lapsed, failed at guarding the 3 ball, and we left way too many points on the foul line. Thats why we lost, period. But it'd be great to see how far we could go with a healthy Morris, just like a healthy Beal in 2015 might have worked out too.

This isnt even about a team, this about Horford trying to injure other players. Like i said before, this happens once in the playoffs its probably nothing. Twice in the playoffs against the same team, in the same round even, thats suspect af. Couple this with his antics with TJ Ford and Delly, and any rational person begins to see a pattern beyond coincidence.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

How can he land on the shooters foot if the shooter is above him?

Well in this specific case the shooter was above him, but whenever two players jump up at the same time, there's a risk for one of them to land on the other one's foot. I don't think anyone would take that risk for themselves in an attempt to injure someone else.

Forgot it was Horford on that TJ Ford play. Damn...that ended Ford's career essentially.

I don't think he's really all that dirty (like a guy like Adams) game to game, but he has no problem injuring someone. So, not sneaky dirty, just a willing goon.

He jumps in to pressure shooters. When you jump towards shooters 2 things happen
1. chance of fouling and sending the shooter to the line
2. off chance if your foot getting landed on

Whats next? Are we going to make defense illegal to prevent injuries? **** happens. Play on. He didnt take a swing at anyone or make a play that wasn't on the ball. Im sick of any player that plays defense anymore getting labeled as dirty.

Bruce Bowen got the dirty label for plays just like this. I'm not saying Al Horford is as dirty as Bruce Bowen but look at the dude and his history. He ain't clean.

Once again, the Delladova argument is weak and kills your whole narrative and exposes your attempt to excuse the Wizards loss. Delly went after 4 different players lower legs during that playoff run. Horford was in far more danger on that play than Delladova ever was.

When he chased down Ford and hit him, the Hawks were already losing by a huge margin and it was nearing the end of the game so it was completely unnecessary and excessive. Then he proceeded to act like a fake tough guy and was looking to fight Sam Mitchell. Ford had a history of spine problems and it practically ended his tenure with the Raptors. He was out for a few months, Calderon took over and he was never the same when he came back that season.

Yeah it definitely sucks. Could you imagine all the banners and trophies the Raptors would have had if Ford had stayed healthy? Crazy to think about it

So would it be okay for the Wizards to start trying to take out Isaiah and Horford's knees? After all, it's not like the Celtics were going to win any banners and trophies this year with them healthy.

Well, now that you can't criticize him for his play anymore (even rebounding well), you gotta find other things to hate about him.

Lol, whats there to hate on the C's this year? Especially with Horford "the big free agent signing"...All the teams in the east are gonna lose to the Cavs so nobody is really caring about the Cs...Al Horford has shown a pattern of dirty behaviour...the video shown also had clips from when he wasn't a celtic....So please get your head out of your ass

Most think he's soft so he gets a pass on being dirty...at least that's how I see it.
