You could be right but on the other hand, after last playoffs, I don't trust Harden with the ball late anyway, maybe Paul can shoulder some of that pressure.

WojVerticalNBA: Chris Paul and James Harden were determined to play together, and found a way with Rockets-Clippers trade agreed upon today.

I don't really see how Paul and Harden will play together. And Paul is only opting in for 1 year ? So he might leave again ? They should have done a sign and trade instead of opt-in and trade , rockets risk a lot with this

I have nothing but love for Chris Paul and the Rockets. I was always a huge Chris Paul fan but it was time for this relationship to end. The fact that the rockets and Chris Paul made sure that the Clippers got something out of this is something they definitely did not have to do. So congratulations to the Rockets fans and I wish Chris Paul nothing but the best.

Now that CP0 is gone he may stay. I wouldn't want to play with that diva either.

Why didn't he just sign with them in FA? He'd have a better team to work with in Houston if he really cares about contending.

I'm just trying to figure out how Lou Williams and Jamaal Crawford mesh together.

But IF the Clippers can sign Kyle Lowry then it's a solid deal for Los Angeles considering it sounds like Paul told them upfront he was gone. But they should have gone for Harrell at least in the package.

Because they can't afford to sign him outright, they always had to trade players to fit him in.
