The mix of length, ball handling and agility, its hard not to see him becoming a star. If he can get that jumper to be consistent, he can be an all nba type talent.
He looks much quicker/more fluid, maybe it's just my eyes though haha. He seemed almost sluggish at times earlier, he looks so smooth now.
But yeah every prospect gets to that point where you can just tell it's almost a lock they'll be a star if healthy. Like Giannis post-ASB in 2015-16. Ingram's hit that point imo.
Ya hes not the most explosive athlete but he doesnt need to be with his height and freakish length. But like you said hes very smooth, the dude is just so agile for his size. Its crazy to think hes only 20 years old and he is showing tons of flashes already. LA fans should be pretty excited about him.
Also goes to show not to toss rookies under the buss as trash for what they do early on. Ingram looked really rough the first half of last season and you could see it slowly start to click for him late in the season. Thats why I think its way too early to call Ball or anyone else a bust already.
I was saying in that other thread, imo he’s going to be better than Jaylen Brown but that opinion is viewed as blasphemy around here.
Ingram at WORST will be a playmaking wing on the level of Nic Batum (who got a max contract), and I think his isolation scoring talent + defensive tools gives him a much higher ceiling than that. He’s still like 5+ years away from being a fully-formed player
