Have to wait who get HCA and if Brewer would be able to play in the serie before voting.

Regardless, still feeling relatively confident for OKC.

The Jazz have a decent squad this year but they don't have any star power and you need that for success in the playoffs. I don't see any scenario where the Jazz beat the Thunder 4 out of 7 times. They might have a better coach but thats it.

Donovan Mitchell is going to be better than any of the Thunder’s big 3.
Lol.

Laugh all you want, Westbrook ain’t a winner. Paul George while solid just doesn’t have the IT factor.

If Portland win, this matchup will be 4 vs 5, if Jazz win it will be 3-6, that's the only difference. Jazz are playing the Blazers for homecourt in the first round...

How is this possible? How can you know OKC will play the jazz without knowing if the Pelicans will play the Blazers. If what you saying is true then that should mean the Pelicans are a lock to play the Blazers in the first round right? Why isn't it a Pelicans vs Blazers thread up right now?

Yup, every matchup is decided already:

Rockets vs Wolves
Warriors vs Spurs
Blazers vs Pelicans
Jazz vs Thunder (HCA to be decided)

Yea thats a tough one, big picture it depends on Currys health but I'd still probably rather take a chance against the rockets in the 2nd round than the warriors.

While my temptation is to laugh at this I would say there is some pressure on Westbrook now, last year everyone knew he was overmatched but with the team he has now he really needs to at least get out of the first round.

People who are grossly underestimating OKC because of their inconsistencies in RS who don't understand the meaning of star power and what deep playoff experience brings in a series is in for a rude awakening, BIG TIME. Get real folks. This isn't some winning streak you play against lottery teams or some free willy game where you get to be loose. :noway:

Oh wait, coaches will be pushed to adjust. Oh Donovan.

No one is underestimating OKC, you guys are the ones overlooking Utah. As if they don’t have deep playoff experience.

Westbrook aint a winner.... The guy thats missed the playoffs twice in 10 years(one of those seasons he was injured as well) and just averaged a triple double for the second straight season. Had 20 rebounds and 19 assists tonight. He's been winning playoff games since Mitchell started middle school.

And as if they don't have star power themselves.

I’m taking Utah in 6 or 7.

Thunder are terrible in close games, and Donovan will get outcoached.

I'm not really sure i understand this either.

If Portland wins they get the 3 seed and will face OKC And it's 3-6 no?

And Jazz will get the 4 seed means Jazz V Pelicans no?

OKC in 6 or 7

I see big games from Westbrook, PG and Adams over Mitchell and Rubio

Ohhh

Blazers Edge said...

"If Portland beats the Utah Jazz Wednesday night, the POR-NO series will be the 3/6 matchup in the West; if Portland loses to the Jazz Wednesday night, the POR-NO series will be the 4/5 matchup in the West."

This has to do with the head to head match ups, the seedings would change, but not the actual match ups.
