Nobody can change my mind on this. Pineapple on pizza is fine (especially when paired with ham) as long as the underlying pizza (crust, sauce, and cheese) is good. So often, you get bad pizza that they just wing toppings on and that poisons people's view on the matter. When you go to a pizza joint for the first time, order the cheese and mayyyyyybe pepperoni. If that's not good, that establishment has no business throwing anything else on a pizza, let alone contrasting flavors, until they get the baseline down pat.

Agreed that if your cheese pizza is trash your pizza is trash but outside of NY all pizza is trash so people have to eat toppings featuring pizza. That said pineapple on pizza is disgusting and 35% of America should be thrown off cliffs.

I live in NC and we actually have good NY pizza here (at least near Charlotte) since half the people here are from NY/NJ.

I'm in Charlotte and I have to agree with you on this one. There are some good pizza places here although I do have to say there was this one place in NY that beat what is here in Charlotte

NY has some good pizza, but it isn't like Charlotte or other places don't have some good pizza

And most importantly, pineapple can definitely go pizza, especially with bacon as well
