I think he only comes back if LeBron is moved before. He will have no interest in LeBron and his drama and it's a lose/lose situation for West.

Clippers gives him more flexibility, lower expectation and all of the credit for any success.

I believe he wanted a position with them years ago...I don't think it's coincidence he took a job with a team in the same building.

When they hired Magic, Jerry West was pretty upset because the Lakers didn't even reach out to him. Doubt he goes there.

Lakers are in disarray, it'll be interesting to see how things go during free agency now.

At the cost of the respect he has in the legue then yes. The respct that Magic has lost today.
