As a Heat fan I can only shrug at the moral warrior army out tonight.

My advice to Raptor fans is to completely ignore them.

Thought this was going to be a post where it showed the "real fans" at Jurassic Park cheering to KD's injury too, it was one of the top posts on Reddit.

I guarantee that just about any arena outside of Oakland would have a few people with the same reaction. It’s sickening, but some sports fans are ***holes. I think the standing O that he got in the arena is more reflective of the fan base.

I love how this is always used as some parameter to judge a fanbase. Of course they were happy. It gives them a better chance to win.

Aka, teams in high pressure moments do it everywhere. I was in the stadium a Regina and people cheered their to. It’s hard to not recognize that KD being hurt improves your chances.

I was at the game and yes it’s extremely unfortunate this happened but there were many of us trying to calm those people down and shorty after they came to their senses and were applauding KD in support.

Here we go.... Even if it was a couple hundred idiots it doesn't rep the whole fan base. And for the first person to respond and say it's thousands that still don't mean **** other than those people are idiots or got caught up in the moment. Doesn't make it right but hardly means the whole fan base is bad.

I trust the initial reaction as the more natural one.

nobody is going to pick their nose when they know someone is watching.

I'm going to give that crowd the benefit of the doubt overall, but man those cheers were pretty loud. It's not representative of the majority of the fan base but it was a pretty big base of people, more than your usual.

Give it up. Fans emotional. Lots at stake in this game. People react differently in the heat of the moment. In every arena...there's a group who react just a bit differently. Move on.
