They should but there not much to offer from other teams. They turned down Lakers offer which was basically everyone besides lebron

Lakers fans hoping the fight is over not including both Ingram and Lonzo.

If Im a Lakers fan, Lonzo or Kuzma are not guys Im going to be willing to walk away from a trade for AD for. Would any Lakers fan be happy if they find out NO was down to make the trade, the Lakers just needed to add Kuzma, but the Lakers walked because of that?

If Im the Lakers I would be more than willing to do #4, Ingram, Ball, Kuzma and 2021 1st round unprotected.

Not if Pelinka is a smart negotiator (seems like he is based on Kobe's last contract ) Just call the Celtic's bluff; they ain't offering Tatum + Smart + MEM pick, not even close with Kyrie being gone. Just wait for Pelicans to come back begging and give them #4 and Ingram, that's it.

Just ask yourself: Why is this Celtics involvement being leaked right now? For weeks now, we've heard BOS is basically moving on b/c Kyrie is gone. What this really means is: LAL are in the endgame of getting AD but the Pelicans desperately want more leverage since the Knicks and Clippers are out. Lakers have all the leverage so Griffin needs Ainge to be his (fake) threat.

I feel like AD would be a good fit in Boston. They could give up Tatum, Smart and their 'treasure trove' of picks. A lineup of Kyrie, Brown, Hayward, AD and Horford would be pretty hard to beat

They will keep Brown for sure if they trade for Davis. They aren't trading Brown/Tatum/Smart and all the picks. I'm actually willing to bet on that.

I wonder if Boston’s just trying to throw out the best package they can without giving up Tatum. Something like Brown, Williams, #14, #20, #22, and the 2020 Memphis pick. Could New Orleans actually consider that over the Lakers package? There’s no single slam dunk asset, but it would allow them to skew super young and if they really want to stick it to LA, it might actually be their best option. Meanwhile Smart/Tatum/Hayward/Horford/AD is a talented enough starting lineup that a little bit of Stevens magic could take them close enough to contention to make Davis strongly consider re-signing, especially if Hayward starts to return to form next season. I just can’t see the Celtics trading Tatum at this point though. AD needs at least one young superstar-level player alongside him for it to really be realistic for him to re-sign.
