Pascal Siakam Will Be A Top 5 Player This Season

I like Pascal but he's likely to be less efficient now that the other team will be focused on guarding him. And his defense may take a step back now that he'll have to exert more energy on offense. I expect this year to be a learning experience for him and I see him getting a little better overall but having his ups and downs.

And I know OP is trying to hype his player but I really don't think threads like this help at all. When you set unreasonable expectations it just makes the player seem disappointing even when he is playing well.

um... no. that means he will be better than Kawhi or Lebron or Durrant or Harden or Gianis? No. I think not. not even in the conversation. just watch the 2019 NBA season to see... No Kawhi his team will struggle to make the playoffs.

If hes basically "Giannis with a 3pt shot" then you are drastically understating him OP. He'll be one of the greatest players of all time if that's the case.

On behalf of Raptor fans, I would like to apologize for a thread as stupid as this. Please realize that some people in this fan base seriously overrate this guy. Saying he's better than Bosh, and soon to be Carter. This isn't the first time someone compared Pascal to Giannis, and no Pascal's jumper is not "wet, wet, wet"... he can only hit a corner 3 and can't shoot a 3 off the dribble.

As you can see, we have some utterly clueless people in our fan base. Please forgive us, we're not all as daft as this.

I hate threads like these because your openly inviting people to speak negatively about a certain player by placing unrealstic expectations on them. I love Siakam but Top 5 player in the NBA is reserved for Franchise altering players and I just don't see that happening with him.
