If he was such a can't miss prospect why did he get drafted after Brad Daugherty? (serious question, i didn't start following NBA until 1988)

Curious to see if anyone had any new thoughts on how Bias projected as an nba player.

Same reason Hakeem got drafted over Jordan.

Bigs were treated with premium importance at that time of the league.


And while Daugherty didn't become Hakeem, he was considered a great prospect at the time.
