Uh, two.
Please don’t bring up 2019 as “Steph leading the team to the Finals”.

Are we talking about which of them will prove they can play more games this season? Because I’m not sure how Lue will handle load management and how Steph’s hand will hold up this season...

Why not score was tied when kd went down vs the rockets game 5 led them in the 4th. Game 6 killed them in a close out game in the 4th. Was brilliant in the WCF easily the best player in that series so how does that one not count?

Kawhi and Stephen both won championships, what is there left to prove?

No one believes that team had a prayer against the Warriors. They had lost multiple key 3nD contributors from the ‘18 season, and the ‘19 Warriors were a shell of their ‘17 and even ‘18 selves.

No one believes the Blazers had a chance either against them either in the Conference Finals that year. Definitely wouldn’t call that a carry job.

If the Blazers didn't have a chance it was because Curry was playing. 10-0 against the Blazers in the playoffs including the overtime record and the avg ppg record in a 4-game sweep and at least 4 games coming back from more than 15 points down. Stephland was dominated more than Lebronto.

I would say Kawhi has more pressure on him this season because expectations are a lot higher for the Clippers than Warriors. I think both could end up getting a lot of flack this year though. Especially if Curry 'goes down' again or Kawhi disappoints when it matters.

Kawhi needs to win a championship so the pressue is a lot higher for him.

Steph needs to prove he can carry an ok but not great roster to a top 6 seed like other "inferior" players have in past years (Harden 2020, Lillard 2018 and 2020) at a mimimum.

Think it will be a lot harder for Kawhi to win the title even though Clippers are still very well equipped than it will be for Curry to come out and play really well, leading his team to a mid range playoff seed in the West.

That’s my point. The Warriors had already swept them twice in the playoffs before so that’s why no one thought they had a chance.
