Not even the best player on his own team. Got his soul taken out by Jaylen Brown in the playoffs. Then watched Tatum drop 40 points on his squad in a blowout today.

I had caught wind of Siakam's regression, but I actually haven't watched him play this year. I'm a Celtics fan, so I was excited to see someone post this thread in an attempt to recapture yesterday's Curry magic.

I was surprised when Siakam didn't look good tonight. He relied on the same post move way too much. His handles were subpar and didn't allow him to create space and drive to the basket. He didn't look like a good distributor and he made reckless fouls. Overall his play looked very concerning. Toronto was betting that he'd be an all-star when they gave him the max extension. Yikes. It's fun when the Atlantic Division is competitive and I like Toronto, so I was hoping Siakam would become star (though not as good as Tatum or Brown). Hopefully he can fix some of those issues and work his way to being an above average starter again. I love Lowry and Van Fleet, and they really need Siakam to be an all star to be competitive. Shame.
