Kyrie has no trade value right now.

Some front office would stay far away but some front office would take the gamble. It only takes one or two teams to bite.

My point? Kyrie knew the Harden trade was in the works, and he feels betrayed by KD - 'cause he feels he brought KD there, and KD signed off on Harden coming there, which pushes him to third option.

If he knew Harden was coming, this all makes a lot more sense, than Kyrie taking personal days so suddenly.

Lmao how do you sleep at night making stuff up on the internet about people?

I made up nothing.

Furthermore, the last sentence of that post started with 'If'.

It is but merely a theory, but a very plausible theory, in my opinion.

It only takes one.

It's not like Kyrie was playing substandard basketball before he went missing. No, he was playing at a very high level. They just blew out the Jazz, with no KD.

I think Kyrie genuinely wanted to make it work with the rostrer they had, with him and KD being the dynamic duo and LeVert as their sixth man. I don't think this is going to last for years, Kyrie might leave again as a free agent.

This is an extremely smoothbrain take. Hall of fame players caring about other players than their own success, sure thing lol

Ship his backside to Wizards and form the OKC trio and get Perk from ESPN airwaves.

This theory actually makes sense. I think from the get-go, Kyrie saw himself as, at minimum, KD's equal. And now being the third wheel on a team that he chose to go to (and brought KD to) cannot be good for his titanic-sized ego.

left Lebron so he could be Batman, but now with Harden & KD, he can't even be Robin... he's probably Commissioner Gordon at best..

It's information (disinformation) overload with Kyrie right now. Just gotta let the dust settle and see where it goes.

I don't think any outcome is off the table or should come as a surprise at this point, including things falling into place with the Nets.

I don’t see the harden thing being the reason for Irving’s absence. I think it’s the opposite. I think the nets jumped hard back into the harden trade because of Irving’s absence. They can’t rely on him. Everyone wants to spread rumors. But the nets know why Irving isn’t playing, they are just not saying it to the media. Honestly it’s none of our business. But it prompted Sean Marks to think he had to do something to save this situation. And that was getting harden. I really did think that they moved on from harden. Irving caused this not this caused the Irving thing.

said this days ago.... Kyrie's latest tantrum is all about disrespect: They didn't consult on the coach, they didn't ask him about Harden, they aren't letting him run the team. He legitimately thought that HE would be running the Nets and now knows he's way down the line and isn't happy about it. This will be fun to watch

for some reason, I felt that a KD- Harden combo makes a lot more sense that KD- Kyrie. or even KD-Kyrie & Harden..

& trading Kyrie for depth makes the Nets more scary for me than having all 3 with the Nets.

I don't know how to can make this argument. Maybe only in the very close future it holds true. Role players are much easier to replace than superstars. Once the Nets fill out their roster you absolutely want three superstars over than two.

Never thought I'd agree with a Celts fan. Yes, it will be fun to watch the Nets compete for titles for the next few years.

Trade him for who? Who will trade for a dude that can and WILL disappear on the fly for an unknown amount of time?

Getting rid of Kyrie will be addition by subtraction, but any GM that offloads anything of true value for Kyrie needs to be fired before the phone call ends.

Sean Marks just got finished speaking and answered a lot of these questions he said although he was disappointed with Kyrie Irving’s absence that they have been in communication, Kyrie has been daily testing and he’s excited about returning. No timeline, though

You underestimate the stupidity of teams front offices. Some desperate team with a bunch of role players would take him. Also, Kyrie is expected to be back as Sean marks just announced. If Kyrie continues to act a fool

We will let him build his trade value, average his 24/4/7, let everybody be wowed by his skills then move his ass with the quickness.

I agree no team worth a damn is trading for this disappearing act of a point guard, some other desperate ass teams with role players that don’t do **** for them, but might help us, will take the bite.
