His advanced stats, his shooting stats and his all around stats excluding scoring all trail Haliburton quite significantly. And voters don’t use 10 game samples to decide who wins any award. Edwards, even with this so called hot streak still has that awful 48.3 TS% sticking out like a sore thumb. Haliburton is at 59.1%. Those are the types of numbers smarter voters will be looking at.

Only one of these 2 rookies would be seeing any rotation minutes for a playoff caliber team and it’s not the guy in Minnesota.

What an idiot. As far as I'm concerned, ROY doesn't mean squat. Ask Michael Carter-Williams. It's what you do after your drafted is what counts and quite frankly I wish nothing but the best in Melo's recovery and hope that he and the other players in this 20 draft have a solid career and do well for themselves.

You think after the Nick Young debacle he'd have learned his lesson on stuff like this but it's clear he hasn't. This clown had the opportunity to go to Minnesota and instead went to the Warriors. Then the idiot GM gave away a 1st and a 2nd for this injury prone clown who's a worse version of Wiggins who's teams play better when he's off the floor vs him being on it.

So what is the cutoff for this season for award eligibility? Because if Lamelo has met that minimum, he is going to still win ROY barring a huge uptick in the play of Edwards and Hali.

Also, Edwards would get minutes on every team in the league, playoffs or not. Those suggesting otherwise are haters.

I'd be kinda mad if my teammate WASN'T pulling hard and doing everything that they can to help me win a ROY award.

I wish players would just avoid social media. I hope they are teaching all these kids that go to college for 'sports management' that these platforms are toxic wasteland.

I feel bad for Ball but injuries are part of the game.
