Probably only Bulls fans remember this guy but Eddie Robinson.

Super athletic underachiever who had a poor attitude. The Bulls gave him a 5 year contract and they straight up waived him after 3 years and he never played in the NBA again.

I remember him. He was a good athlete. I thought he was going to have a good career at one point. Terrance Williams is another guy with a big ego that flamed out.

Allen iverson.
He felt entitled to take far too many shots and had too much of an ego for what his actual talent was.

he is a top 100 all time of course.

but he is no top 10
and in his mind he was the goat.

Bryon "don't call me Byron" Russell, calling Michael Jordan "Michelle" and telling him that he retired so that he wouldn't get shut down by him....yeah....awesome job firing up that guy Bryon.

Mario Hezonja made as much cumulative salary in the league as Larry Bird lol. And Bird played as late as '93, not exactly ancient. Crazy how much the league has blown up (ironically in large part to Bird).

I know he doesn’t fit the criteria, but I’m giving an honorable mention to LaVar Ball.

Saleh Mejri and there is not a close 2nd to The Mej. And yes he referred to himself as that. And he introduced himself to Dallas by announcing that he had dominated the Americans when he played them on the Tunisian national team and would tell you exactly how many shots he had blocked of each player.

So sorry, but you are all playing for 2nd to The Mej

Michael Porter has some potential here. Likened himself as a Giannis/KD hybrid when he came into the league.

Well, tbh, there are quite a few rough 'n tumble 90s players who belong here. Buncha dudes who thought they could scrap and therefore thought that made them something. Like wtf was Andrew DeClercq doing in the NBA?

MPJ clearly thinks well of himself, but the Denver environment has been good for him and mostly kept things under control. Plus, he's playing well now so while he obviously isn't a KD/Giannis hybrid, his play is bringing down the ratio.

According to Monta: the only difference between Monta Ellis and Dwyane Wade is more wins and 2 championships rings.
