No excuses for it being his first playoff series. Thousands of other players have had there first series and have breasted or done bad but not this bad.

Look up the stats he really is the worst player ever in the nba.

Dude has bad body language and is not a captain. Straight trash. He’s mailed it in and wants to go home.

If Knicks max him he will play like he is now with no incentive to get better. He’s that type of player that has all the talent but is a mental midget and only plays for his next contract.

I thought he changed this year. There is no denying the talent. But there is also no denying how bad he has been. Now if he played bad and actually out the effort in I wouldn’t be mad but the dudes mind is not in the game and you can see it with indecision, not being in the right place all the time turning the ball over like it’s a hot potato.

I’m sorry but I am so disappointed. If he wants to stay for 17-18 millions a year I’ll do it with the asterisk we sign anther star. Otherwise ship him out for two first.

Crucifying players because they have one bad playoffs showing is not the way to go for the Knicks. Randle has been the most exciting Knick to watch since linsanity(not including Rose). Except that he's much better and he hasn't done it just for 1 month.

He is a very good player and he can become even better.

The Knicks weren't even supposed to make the playoffs. Let alone getting the 4th seed. The team has significant future and Randle is the centerpiece for this. Support your guy and your faith will be rewarded. Because he can play and because if you don't do it...you will go back in no man's land.

The answer is Jimmy Butler. Because he was the one yelling "he can't guard me" when Giannis switched on him a couple of times in last year's playoffs. This season Giannis was on him and not only on switches. Giannis is a DPOY for a reason but that isn't an excuse for Butler. I like his spirit and i think he's a leader but sometimes you must be careful when you open your mouth. Otherwise you can easily be humiliated.

Like everyone else has been saying, its between Jimmy and Randle.

I have higher expectations for Jimmy so that is why he is up there. But Jimmy has more things to do either than just scoring. At least Jimmy still plays good defense and facilitates, his scoring has just been garbage.

Randle's main thing is scoring. His scoring has been bad, he also isnt facilitating nearly as well as he did during the season. The Knicks defense have held the Hawks to an OFF Rating of 111 which is pretty solid, so if Randle was being regular season Randle right now, this would be a much better series.

I feel like if Jimmy was playing up to his regular season ability on offense, the Bucks still wouldve cruised to an easy series win, I think the gap between those two teams was pretty damn big. But I think if Randle played up to his regular season ability the series would at least be tied right now.

The person we could rename the dustpan because he got swept after making the Finals.

NBA fact. The Heat got swept after the 2006 championship (Wade and Shaq) and the 2020 NBA Finals (Butler and most of the same Heat team) in the 1st round.

Yeah I'm sure that really took away something from that 2006 championship.

Easily Butler for me. He's the only guy that I was expecting to play like a superstar. It would have been nice for Randle to continue his great regular season play, but hes never played in the playoffs before so his drop off is more understandable.

Bam should be up there. Got outplayed horrificly on both ends by Brook Lopez. Got sagged off on with 10ft of space and couldnt do anything and got exposed. Ppl trashed Pasal Siakam for his series against us Bam was arguably worse.

Yea, but Jimmy didn't look like a deer in the headlights, he simply ran onto an elite defense, and his shooters couldn't hit any shots. Randle didn't look like an nba player in the PO series as of yet imo, he's been Anthony Bennett level bad, Gallo's looked like an elite 1v1 defender vs him, Randle couldn't take him off the dribble lol. Being in the PO for the 1st time is no excuse, I don't think there's ever been a drop of this magnitude from RS performance to PO

Porzingas, Boban looks better. If KP showed up Mavs, would have swept the Clips.....at least Jimmy played hard and Randle is trying

honestly, randle has no history. i loved the guy from the very beginning of his career, don't know why he wasn't liked cuz he was a blue collar dude w/ skills, and i love what he's done to himself this year,,,,but he has no history. THE WHOLE KNICK TEAM has no history other than the vets

miami is a bubble team but butler has not been their dude.

Jimmy Butler. He was putting up MJ-esque numbers and performances in the 2020 playoffs and in the Finals and all of a sudden he looks like a borderline All Star the following year. So weird.

Why is THT on that list? He’s never done anything of note. Nobody outside LA thinks he’s anything special. What a weird addition to the list.

Anyways, it’s between Randle and Butler and Bam. You need to be a star player to be a disappointment.

Post like this make sense as to why the Knicks don't really deserve a good player like ever.

First, you're wrong on the merits. There's no measure that he's the worst since the shot clock invent. You're referencing the arbitrary stat of a player's first playoff series who takes a significant amount of shots. Like whatever, he's obviously playing poorly, but arbitrary stats are pointless as they are (kind of like Randle being one of like 5 players to average 20-10-5-40 3FG%).

Just a bunch of whining for the best player the Knicks have had since Melo and already talks of blowing it up.

If Knicks fans drive Randle away and the Nets win a title, why would anyone ever bother to come to NYK? To get this tongue lashing at the first sign of struggles.

The worst fans in the NBA by far from how they interact with their own players.

Jimmy had a chance to maintain his newfound ranking amongst the top 10 in the NBA for some (no easy task in this NBA), but I think that time has come and gone for him after this showing (I can't think of a top 10 player with a scoring performance that bad in a series off the top of my head).

It was Randle's first playoff series and very few outside of NY actually consider him a great player (he's a good player who had a very good season). I fully expected him and the Knicks to struggle in round 1, albeit not to this degree.

Jimmy went from dropping a 40 point triple double in the finals to getting outscored by opposing role players.
