It is the truth. Embiid did choke, but you can't win a title with Simmons as your second "star." Players that cannot score don't have real value even if they are great passers and play good defense. You have to have guys that can score to win.

Here is the thing, Embiid is a Center that just turned the ball over 8 times in a game 7. Really that shouldnt be the guy throwing anyone else under the bus.

But with that said, ya that no doubt was the turning point, so Embiid is just speaking the truth. Plus it has to be extremely frustrating playing in that offense when you have to play 4 on 5 every possession. Hell you could tell Doc was trying his best not to throw Simmons under the bus as well.

Simmons is officially done in Philly.

Part of the reason Embiid has so many turnovers is because Simmons' man just leaves him and roams the court to help.

NAh.. he was one on one with Gallo and no help. He even got passed Gallo and still got ripped.

Are you sure? Kuzma doesn't turn down dunks (or any opportunity to shoot). Kuzma also contributed to a championship.

Any team that has that large of a portion of the cap space going towards Simmons is putting a cap on their ceiling as a team

I’d much rather Lonzo at whatever he’ll be making over paying Simmons 35 million a year to brick free throws and be scared of the ball
