Giannis or CP? Who do you want to get a ring?

Overall, I’m rooting for the Suns, BUT Chris Paul is possibly my least favorite player in the NBA. (I like Booker, and I really like Ayton and Monty Williams.) Ideally for my own personal satisfaction, the Suns would win despite CP3 playing exactly like he did last night and getting bashed for it.

But on the specific question from the OP, Giannis all the way. He’s pretty much the opposite of Chris Paul in terms of the whining and flopping and blaming everything on his teammates (even when Giannis could and maybe should put the heat on them a bit more). I think he’s been wildly overrated on here in the past and I’d enjoy watching him more if his game had some nuance, but he seems like a truly good person and I’d be very happy for him to win a ring. And despite my complaints about his game, he’s undoubtedly been the best player in the series.

Going CP3 since I don’t care for Giannis and his game at all. Good person? Meh. His game bores me aside from a defensive highlight or two

I was expecting CP3 to win this handily given his age and stage of his career. 120 to 23 in favor of Giannis :lol:

i'll always have cp3 as trash player with great basketball skills who contributed heavily to ruining how basketball should be played with his flopping bs. i hope he loses in game 7 by choking hard.

I'm with you. It's like the OG Isaiah Thomas...great player, but what a dyck...just can't root for guys like that.

CP3....he doesn't have much time left and the west is brutal. Giannis has a lot of time left.

Giannis. Cp3s contribution to flopping culture cant be overlooked. Who cares he played 16 yrs.

I like the rest of the suns team tho and dislike bobby porter. So i dont have much of a horse.

Giannis. He's flawed as a player but he's more likeable than CP3. Humble and seems to be a great family man.

Plus the Bucks team plays the hard way, gritty and non of that flopping or acting like they've been run over by a bulldozer.

Giannis all day, I love watching him play and a chip would shut these disrespectful talking heads up for good. Dude has been inspiring these playoffs and Miltown could use a shiny new trophy. I can't stand CP3 or Devin Booker so there's that.

CP3 has too much "stuff" in his game - all the flopping, grabbing, and tripping make him unlikable.

Not that I don't want to see him win a ring, but he ranks pretty low on my "stars I want to see win a ring" list.

Poll is a bigger landslide than I expected, but it makes sense. Giannis is a likable guy while Chris Paul seems like a douche.

I think the Bucks winning would be good for the small market teams. Keeps the masses from revolting against the large market teams.
Plus Giannis is a more likable player compared to CP3.

That first ring put you in a totally different category and into the conversation when comparing ATGs. There's a reason why guys like Malone, Barkley, Stockton etc are all a tier below the the others.

Went with CP3.
