Lol, that's what Lebron and AD Told him, but yo know when management said "We're leaving that roster spot open for Kevin Love or someone" Lebron and AD were like not as aggressive about it when the Lakers made a good case not to resign him.

No one actually thinks lEbRoN Is tHe GM, but a superstar like him has a huge say in things, even final say if he lays his foot down. You can bet lebron plays an active role in roster construction.

Dont be naive. Its not just lebron guys like KD and giannis will have that power too. Look at the nets getting houses for the nets sidehoes.

Look at giannis getting his bro on the team, or curry getting his brother in law.

Look at draymond donkey green texting his GM about who to pick in the draft. He aint even a star like lebron.

If they were as tight as he claimed, AD and Bron would have got him a spot since the Lakers could just cut him later in the season to sign a buyout that they like if they think he's wasting a spot. The fact that Dudley sounds so surprised/vocal that he's not coming back clearly tells you AD and Bron didn't fight on his behalf and said "Aight" when Rob told them no.
