I remember the .com boom of the 90s when every hot new company had .com after their company name. Almost every company from that era blew up big then died just as quickly.

I am blown away we will have an arena with .com in the name in the year 2021.

Like DustBuster said above, that's just straight up embarrassing.

Obviously Crypto.com has no interest in going with "Crypto Arena" because there's no association with their brand there. It's not going to drive any traffic towards their app or website.

These new arena sponsorships are mediocre. FTX Arena, Footprint Center, Paycom Center, Crypto.com Arena? WTF?

Tesla or MGM Sports can’t be bothered to sponsor one of these places?

What would be ironic about that? It’s kind of sad they’re changing the name. “Staples” is pretty iconic. It’s like when they changed the name of Joe Robbie stadium down in Miami. Historic names that are now tarnished

My thoughts exactly. My buddy works there too. Seriously doubt he's going to feel like answering "Where do you work?" with "At the crypto.com Arena".
