Hield has roughtly 2.5% better TS%, that people seem to love while offering no help to Lebron in terms of playmaking and in generally is worse scorer than Westbrook even on late his career. Hield is not a needle mover but would be nice to have player as your 4th or 5th option but Lakers really need someone who takes playmaking responsibilities from Lebron and keeps him fresh. Last night Westbrook had disasterous game in terms of turnovers and Lebron played more playmaker earlier on and was totally gassed on the 4th quarter having dismal last 5 minutes of the game, just missing shots, unable to drive and bricking 2 freethrows.
Like crying out loud. Hield is shooting 39% this year.... If you think Westbrook's scoring can be streaky he usually doesn't have those sub 30% shooting games but once every 7-8 games. Hield has one every 2-3 games. Hield had recently stretch of 10 games where he shot 33.3% FG and 25% 3 point shots. That's not helping Lakers at all.
