As a Mavs fan: Luka, Brunson, DFS, KP
Others: both Currys, Adams, Jokic, Booker, Dame, Kanter (on Offence).

Jokic, of course.

Mitchell, Young, Ayton, and Morant are also entertaining.

But then you look at that poor Nuggets defender and you realise that regardless of Magic's showtime, the dude has already made his business decisions and is just pretending to be defending at this point LOL
And the big white guy in the middle is basically using the game for mild calisthenics and weight control purposes.

Yeah, I'm in the group who thinks the 90's and 80's defense is severely overrated.

Demar Derozan. Love his footwork and scoring ability inside the 3pt line.

Jokic, Morant, Olympic Paddy Mills, Chris Paul (albeit for less aesthetic reasons) and Josh Giddey (sure, it's a homer pick, but getting to watch him develop is fun, plus those cross court passes already are fun for me)

Lamelo. Wanted him to fail but he shutting me up.

Dosunmu on the Bulls, Bane on Grizzlies, Javale McGee, Giannis, Giddey, G League temps who are still playing team ball even though it hurts their stats, Lance Stephenson, P.J. Tucker.

Lots of guys for lots of different reasons.

LaMelo Ball. I've been a fan since he was in high school. He plays so freely and fearlessly.

His battles with Giannis in last year's playoffs were just *chef's kiss* so good. Both players.

Embiid. A guy who didn't play until 16. A guy who loves the fans. He just looks like he loves playing the game.

I grew up watching Vince and fell in love with effortless offensive showmanship. So KD is the player I like watching most right now. Effortless domination on the offensive end. Doesn't get enough credit for how amazing he is imo.

There’s nothing about his game that says “art” to me. He has terrible shot selection and please don’t say “foot work”, the only steps he is taking is backwards.

Yeah, I'm in the group who thinks the 90's and 80's defense is severely overrated.

Everyone has opinions about different eras, but I've never seen another player do these kinds of things regularly to other pros. When you have a nickname like "Magic" and can actually live up to the hype, not only in style, but in substance, you are a player.

I didn't realize I had failed to mention any current players, so here it goes (in no particular order). A short preface: the league has never had more talented, skilled group. That said, I find many of the top players to be nauseatingly boring to watch (James Harden would be an example of this), despite incredible skill.

1. Joe Ingles: he seems like a fabulous teammate and is just such an intelligent player.

2. Alex Caruso: Joe Ingles light. He's just a good basketball player whose bball IQ makes up for all his lack of physical gifts.

3. Nikola Jokic: possibly the most skilled center the NBA has ever had. And he does it while looking like he is gassed from the opening tip.

4. Steph Curry: the off-the-ball movement, the handles, and the shooting shows. In an era of ball-dominant players, he is dominant without the ball. Unbelievable.

5. CJ McCollum: he is deceptively skillful, savvy offensive player who just makes scoring look really easy.
