What a debut.

But he is skinny!

Dude is going to be a beast. Might not be alpha enough to be a true #1, but such a good shot to be an elite #2 (IE AD level).

calipari/ky does not meet expectations if he doesn't have the #1 player on his roster

I dont think I have ever seen a shotblocker with such elite coordination w/ their off hand as Kessler. Usually guys are better blocking using their dominant hand, but Kessler is just as good with either. His timing, hand/eye coordination, dexterity, size, length. The guy looks like a mini Gobert out there. Really starting to buy into the idea he can be the type of defender that elevates a whole squads defensive standings.

Ya he is a defensive savant. I think poor mans Gobert / rich+healthy mans Theo Ratliff is a good comp (Albeit is is much larger than Theo).

I think he is an easy Top-10 pick. You take Duren over him due to his offensive potential, but Kessler is that guy if your not necessarily in need of a big scorer at C.

I want to see him in the PNR more though, think he should be better getting easy buckets as a roll finisher.

calipari has had players on his bench better than many of his starters, but the corner he painted himself into was his obligation to make good on his promise to showcase all his top5 recruits,,,,,,,or more probably, cal can't coach LOL

Asian Klay couldn’t get it done today unfortunately. Doesn’t seem like he’ll be NBA material.

College basketball is so enjoyable.

Ball movement, tight defense allowed, hustle, etc.

Baylor just getting beat down. Embarrassing showing for a 1 seed on the opening weekend.

Don't worry the refs are doing everything they can to help them get back in it. Don't get me wrong, N. Carolina is **** up & Hubert Davis seems to be absent, but the refs are certainly not "calling it both ways" (as the saying goes). :nonono:

Ya of all people I love to see UNC get screwed over. And ya it's been a combination of them shooting themselves in the foot and the refs screwing them over.

There was a stretch where every close call went to Baylor. But don't worry, the officials swung it the other way, too.

The officials in that one had a rough day.
