I stand corrected.

The more impressive AC Green record is him staying celibate for 16 NBA seasons including many years hanging out with Magic. Can't see this true ironman record ever being broken.

This is honestly the real answer, and it could easily be considered a typo by someone who just glanced over records. Averaging more minutes per game than there are in an actual regular game is so **** preposterous it makes me laugh

Did he really find it that hard?

Bill Russell: 11 championships
Bill Russell, KC Jones: championships 8 consecutive seasons
KC Jones: 8 year career, winning the championship every season
Tom Heinsohn: 9 year career, going to the Finals every season

Small critique, it works without the colored font. But overall, well done.

Without the "iron", it would only have been a simple pun. With the "iron" it was 3-way wordplay.

wilt scoring average and rebounding average récords are the ones that are impossible now
the 100 point record is absurdly hard but possible imo

FJS wrote:As I said in the other thread, to pass Stockton total assist you need to average 10.5 apg in 1504 games.
Only one player have average more than 10.5 in nba history (Magic) and only four guys have played more than 1504 games (parish, jabbar, dirk and vince)
It's that difficult!!!
TheHartBreakKid wrote:Honestly I think Stockton's Assists/steals will not be broken in my lifetime (forever is a really long time). Since he has set those records no one has even come close to threating them.
Also Wilt's rebounding record.....for reference, he has nearly 10k more rebounds than the most recent active player to crack the top 10, which is KG in ninth place. Dwight is the only active player in the top 10 and he's catching up KG, but still is also around 9k short.
Memories wrote:Wilt's averaging of 48.5 minutes per game. That record might as well be marked "impossible" since no coach/organization would EVER have their star on the court all game, EVERY GAME....including overtime. That record is more untouchable than any scoring or basic stat record in the history of the NBA.
Someday, we WILL eventually see someone score 100+ in a game. Someday we will see a consistent, great passing guard beating Stockton's record, and someday we will see some role player or so get lucky on multiple teams and have 12+ rings to beat Bill Russell.
But averaging 48.5 minutes, while playing EVERY SINGLE GAME of the season? (which was what Wilt did as well that season.) A player would have to go against everything in the sports science/medical world today, as well as the coach just letting their star player do that, AND avoid injury throughout the season. No way that ever happens in our lifetimes.
