Kawhi would be chilling at home

but would still give 'em a better chance at a title.

He wouldn’t because he’d be in street cloths.

He was also not a possibility.

Makes no sense complaining about the two. “Bulls would win with prime MJ”… yeah, cool?

Derozen has had a great season and just had a bad game against the defending champs. Bulls been complete trash for a minute now. He’s help turn things and people crying over one game.

I do think the Bulls had all the symptoms of a first round fodder team, but Derozan seems like such a good dude and hard worker, it's weird how many people seemingly root for him to fail.

Neither guys game is built for the playoffs. They’re high volume regular season scorers that fall apart when teams ramp up their playoff D.

A Lavine max and his gimpy knee is gonna be a bad deal for Chicago this summer. At least Demar is paid much more in line with his game.

The Bulls have an interesting squad, but I have absolutely zero idea what their direction is.

Nothing matters if it doesn't happen in the playoffs. We learn this every year and every year amnesia strikes again.

To be fair, he still has the rest of the series to get his **** together. And I like DD so I hope he does. But the GB has every right to go IN right now considering his history and his horrible shooting tonight.

i mean dude cut some slack. their entire franchise was a loser for decades so its understandtable derozan looks like black jesus when they reached playoffs he was being worshipped like a cult.
but little did they watch his choke jobs in toronto to the point lebronto sonned him. you sow what your reap trying to take easy shortcuts instead of tanking hard for a generational talent.

I was really trying to understand where the post was going. It ended with criticizing the Bulls for signing free agents and trying to build a good team instead of "tanking hard"

There's been 6 playoff seasons he's played in, hard that this series is going to change anything. Gotta feel for the guy, he works hard and humble. Reminds me of that Linkin Park song - I tried so hard and got so far, in the end it doesn't even matter.

Like I said in the all star selection. Demar and Wiggins were the biggest embarrassment to have as all star starters and probably the two weakest starters the all star game has had in modern times.

Everyone knows Demar isn't legit, and everyone knows Wiggins is well... Wiggins.

I wouldn’t put it all on DeRozan tonight.

They’re playing the defending champs who put the clamps on em defensively.

Also LaVine went 6-19 and Vuc 9-27 so it was more of a collective effort tonight.

Raptor fans are not actually rooting for him to fail, but we have first hand experience the frustration of having him on your team come playoff time.

It's been 1 game, let's see how he does in game 2.

You know when your aunt or some old HS classmate responds to one of those inane "Type Everyone Thinks [yourname] the next ten autocorrect words!" ? That's that fellow's entire post history. It's just attempts to auto-fill in basketball forum speak. I click "Display This Post" fairly often and it's almost always worth it.

Games like this is why I don't miss Derozan. He's a mental midget in these types of games.

If you're asking for Demar to be your first or second option in the playoffs then you're asking for disappointment.

He’s an amazing dude, honestly the personality of what we’d want from our best player. I think our beef is more against the fans that believe he’s a first option championship caliber player, than Demar himself.

I find it fascinating how much more obsessed people get with a bad playoff/play-in game compared to a great one.

Derozan is great during the regular season, but his shortcomings and playoff failures are obvious to all

Just doesn't have that extra gear, or IT factor

We all saw this coming. DeRozan beats up on bad teams during the regular season, but can’t do the same thing against playoff teams that actually try to stop him. His game is still flawed and doesn’t translate well in the playoffs.

I don’t know why people are bringing up Lavine. That was his first ever playoff game and he’s injured. DeRozan has been in enough playoff games and still hasn’t figured it out.

Are people really trying to go at the Bulls and Demar while we looked like a complete joke in Game 1 ourselves? What does that say about Siakam/Fred lol
