And their front office will just keep the status quo cause they aren’t actually trying to contend. Just keep their fans happy with the treadmill led by fake stars.

I mean they added Bogey and Conley, but to no avail.

Gobert is just too weak in the playoffs.

You cant win with Gobert as your 2nd best player (which he really isnt, in all likelihood).

Mitchell needs a star for a sidekick.

He dropped 32 on 50% tonight.

Mitchell needs to BE the sidekick. Gobert is what he is. He has issues on defense against small teams but erases the inside. Mitchell is not good enough to be a one option for a contender on offense, and is another sieve on defense. He's the problem.

The last Utah core of Malone and Stockton?

There’s still time to delete this post.

Did you honestly consider them a contender going into these playoffs though? I sure didn't. I can't think of many people who did.

Last year was their big disappointment. The Jazz have been struggling with fit and chemistry issues all year and it's why I don't think they were ever really in the conversation this season.

They really weren't aside from preseason.

Mitchell is too small. There will never be a player under 6’3” that will lead a team to a championship as the #1 guy ever again.

The score is 124-116 in the Mavericks favor with 12 seconds left in the game. It's rap for the Jazz. Time to begin the rebuilding process.

At the time I commented the Mavs were only up 1. I should have known the Jazz would lose, though.

Was never high on Mitchell. Always inefficient so didn’t get the hype. Should’ve focused more on pairing gobert more with an efficient wing. Also they don’t use gobert on the offense enough

Not enough for Denver honestly. Rose is good for half a season and Barrett I still like and Toppin isn't bad but that is no rebuild. They need something to build around and RJ isn't quite it

The Jazz are so farked. Gobert’s contract has to be one of the most toxic in the NBA. I don’t know how they move it for assets that help. Nobody is going to give up anything of value for the guy.

Going off the rumors alone but yes not enough but that’s all they got . .. they will get better offers but if Mitchell throws a fit (he will) it may be one of those situations . They don’t want Ben Simmons saga themselves

My bad - I stand corrected. Will edit my post.
