It's when teams completely sag off him or he is match up with a physical specimen like trae young right under the basket that he struggles the most. If anything Simmons might have disrupted Bostons defense because he would be the one perimeter player that they would treat completely differently.

I remember watching Ben's summer league games and being impressed by him. I thought he would be at the very least a homeless mans LBJ.

Never would I have imagined his career playing out this way, and it seems the best (worst) is yet to come.

To be fair, his talent was and is ridiculous, and while there were rumors about him having suspect attitude, no one could have predicted him being THIS bad when it comes to attitude and work ethic.

Yeah but he struggles against pressure. This series has felt like a conference finals from the beginning, and there's a ton of pressure already on KD and Nash and Irving, and everyone can feel the pressure in the building. He's not built for that kind of environment. And Boston would bully him. This isn't the series for a mentally fragile baby who hasn't played in a year.

We don't know he's faking the injury, but all my respect for this guy went down the toilet the moment it was reported he's trying to collect from Philly. As such, he's lost the benefit the doubt from me.

The next CBA negotiations will be a sight to behold.

I don't think I've ever seen an NBA player who wants to play less in the NBA than this guy. He wants his money, but he sure doesn't seem to want to earn it.
