lebron didn't do what KD did lol

LeBron is in the same category as KD, both jumped ship to great teams to be able to win. The Celtics were good but weren’t unbeatable, Kobe beat them without jumping ship. James recruiting Bosh and joining Wade, then recruiting Love and joining Kyrie set the NBA back. Both KD & LeBron’s rings don’t hold much weight.

No one has destroyed their legacy quicker than KD has.

Last year I truly believe the Nets win that Bucks series if Kyrie doesn't get hurt. Or if he just made that one 3.

Now he looks pedestrian vs the Celtics in the First Round.

Imagine if the Warriors win the West. Draymond may be proven right. We don't need you. Leave.

Kenny knows damn well he didn’t give any directions to Hakeem. What a clown.

Fans arguing that LeBron's Miami team is less spineless than KD's move to Golden State is like arguing McDonalds is healthier than Burger King because McDonalds now have a salad option. Both are spineless and anti-competitive. If peak Barkley joins the Chicago Bulls or the Houston Rockets after the 93' Finals he would have a ring too.

That's why Lebron only earned my respect after winning the chip in Cleveland.

But even pusxy for pusxy Durant was a bigger female than Lebron. Durant left after they were one Klay Thompson miracle away from winning the West and likely the championship. Durant had 2 MVP teammates before he left OKC. Lebron left after the Cavs couldn't get him better supporting players than guys like Antawn Jamison and Daniel Gibson. Not even comparable in my opinion.

Teams win titles, not players, it's that simple. The team with the best player doesn't always win the title, in fact they usually don't:

2021: NBA Champs = Bucks, MVP = Jokic
2020: NBA Champs = Lakers, MVP = Giannis
2019: NBA Champs = Raptors, MVP = Giannis
2018: NBA Champs = Warriors, MVP = Harden
2017: NBA Champs = Warriors, MVP = Westbrook
2016: NBA Champs = Cavaliers, MVP = Curry
2015: NBA Champs = Warriors, MVP = Curry

We have to go all the way back to 2015 for a season when the league MVP also won a title.

It was one of these buses down in Miami.

And we all know that whatever side Wade sat on, the controls were disabled. They still moved and looked like they were active but they weren't. Kind of like when a small child wants to play with an older one and the controller he/she is provided is either unplugged or has no batteries.

Seriously. Lebron is just as big of a coward in fact Lebron hopped teams 3 different teams when he saw there was better opportunities.

Lost Angel wrote:let's not forget that if KD didn't tear his achilles he would most likely be driving whatever bus Barkley is talking about.

I'm surprised he's even this effective after that injury, that's usually a career ending injury. People never come back the same from that. To even be able to do what he does after the injury is impressive.

Nobody is disputing what if scenarios. We can only talk about what actually happens.

Maybe Greg Oden wins 5 titles if he doesn't get injured. You can't operate as if he did. But KD injured his achilles before he could ever win a title driving the bus. If you want to rate KD all time you have to include the achilles injury. You can't just ignore it.

Who knows how good AD would be if he was never injured. Yet, his career will be what is is based on what he can accomplish with or without the injuries. It is what it is.

Also it's funny. Nobody ever mentioned KD's acchiles injury when they called him a top 3 player the last two years. Suddenly he loses and it's all the achilles.

So the Warriors weren't some stupid jump shooting team that just got lucky?

At least try to stick to your rhetoric instead of switching around, so you look less stupid.

I have been highly critical of Durant joining GSW so I won't rehash those points, but I respect that Durant took the risk of leaving GSW to become the man on his team, because it opened him up to this criticism. It's really the first time in his career he has been criticized for his playoff failures.

Yes he has been criticized for joining GSW, but once they got on the court, the failures were few and far between, so there wasn't much to criticize. In GSW, they were so stacked that winning was inevitable. In OKC, Westbrook was a magnet for all failures and Durant kind of skated by on his numbers and efficiency compared to Westbrook. Durant's failures in OKC never stuck. This failure this season is really the first time I can remember Durant being so overtly criticized for a playoff failure.

He is going to take his lumps this offseason, but if he comes back next season and leads the Nets to a chip, all of this will be forgotten. This is a process he must experience if he wants to have his final triumph in this league, and it's not too late for him to do so.
