LeBron 2.0 vs. KD 2.0. People will argue for years that Tatum is on the same level but he really isn’t.

A lot of guys here talk about who is better player more from 1 on 1 or in a vacuum perspective. I am looking from elite team construction side. All these high usg players like Westbrook/Harden/Doncic have very clear limitation and way easier game planing against them in PO.

On the other hand, big and athletic wing, who plays on both ends at high level, who could be elite scorer at his peak/prime, is dream for real contender team construction. He could be on Kawhi/Durant level with elite behavior and attitude and knowing what did these two, Tatum could be blessing for BOS

This is Luka and it’s not particularly close. He’s ran the whole show in Dallas since his arrival. With Tatum, people were debating who was better between him and Brown not that long ago.

Tatum is an incredible player and may be a better head-to-head comparison/competitor to Luka than Trae Young, in the end.

NBA executives were asked which young player would you build around. The question was asked in 2020 and then again in 2022. Luka was tops both time. Tatum was #2 each time. It's a close call. Here's the info:

Take regular seaosn games with grain a salt . Cross conference RS games have less impact then playing your division or conference rival
