Sure he is inconsistent but most guards would be after getting DNP following a career stretch from a coach who thinks this is a way to prove a point.

Confidence shaky ... Sure, due to Pop.

This kid will breakout with the Lakers if James and Davis are healthy all year.

This is a huge bargain.

smh, Pop doesn't ruin guys confidence. He turns boys into men in his regime.

The way I would describe him for Laker fans is he's a very exciting player. He will amaze you with his great athleticism and his dunks. He will have a a few games out of every 10 games where you will think wow this guy can be possibly a star but then will follow it up with 7 bad games. In my eyes he's the poor man's version of Dwyane Wade.

He was a guy I thought was interesting with his age, upside, and low risk, so given we got Ingles instead, this is a bit of a bummer.

The fact that this is being celebrated as a good signing just goes onto show how low the bar has been set for this front office.

with AD and Bron on the court he's gonna get good open looks and opportunities for rim finishes like malik monk, and even moreso if we add another player to be named later, hopefully his confidence can get him where we need him to be in the rotation, he'll get a nice contract next summer from us or someone else if he does.

He is a first class guy off the court. I wish him the best with the lakers. He had multiple times that he could have found his niche with the spurs and it just didn’t work. I mean when a team drafts 4 1st rounders in your respective position, it says something. In a role where he plays off of a ATG like Lebron it is likely he will do better but with the spurs he was never going to “get it” since he has been a bad defender and in a era of perimeter play, you should at least hold your own and he hasn’t.

He sucks after 4 years. Sometimes you just move on.

So his best play is also his worst play?

Slot him alongside Westbrick, collect trophies, and cash checks.

Quick rapid fire things

Lonnie Walker is a Wing/SG in this league.
6'10" wingspan, Average shooting, great looking mechanics however
Looks like a basketball player but cant play basketball often

I think he's worth the 6M. yall acting like they gonna sign some **** difference maker with the 6M space. Walker is the perfect type of player to target, a Probably not as good Malik Monk with about 5 times the ceiling as Malik Monk

Lakers signed 3 Klutch guys today. Coincidence? I think not.

Hmmm…I haven’t read “Klutch” once today. I wonder why?

Clearly the Klutch clients are signing for below market value to help LeBron stack the deck

I think it gives Lonnie exposure in a big market so a team like Detroit could give him a 3 year deal.

Him being let go by Pop hurt his market value.

That 15 point 4th quarter against the defending champs alone was worth 6.5 million

He makes free throws, he can make three pointers at a high %, so he has a long future in the league. Congrats
