I love how nobody knows why he is rolling his eyes, but everybody got an explanation for why he is rolling his eyes.

anyone remember that clip in which "Maxie hates Harden so much we won't sit next to him on the bench"?
This is part 2.
Loser Nix fan that thought this was thread worthy wishes he was a TMZ reporter.

But with that being said rolling of the eyes is usually accompanied with contempt/lack of respect. And that behavior, for a young player, is usually learned from the veterans. It's like having an older brother that curses at his parents and gets away with it. So the younger brother does it too, why not!
Not sure I'm following the logic you've got here. Is Thomas having an 'emotional reaction,' or is Nash 'not telling him to pass,' or did he just learn to be a selfish and disrespectful from Kyrie et al? The three aren't incompatible but it seems like you're just throwing up random guesses about what he's doing here.
It's also extremely unlikely that Nash and the coaching staff hasn't been telling him to move the ball, since every coach ever repeats that endlessly. Seems like all we can tell from the clip is that he's been through this conversation before and he didn't like how it went. Maybe he thinks Nash and staff should just let him play his game, maybe he's salty about not getting enough PT last year, maybe he's trying but feeling frustrated and Nash and co have been hard asses, etc.
Well it's quite clear he is having an emotional reaction. I don't think he went into the interview saying I am going to roll my eyes when they ask this question. It's possible to have an emotional reaction even if Nash has been saying these things. Is it uncommon for people to say "You never said that to me!" even though you have? Selective hearing is very common, especially when you don't respect the source or like what is being said. Or as you said it's very likely he had the conversation before and did not like the way it went.
He may well be salty, but so many young players take their cues from the veterans on the team and Cam holds both KD and Irving in high regards. He is watching and soaking in what they do and how they behave.

But I could be wrong. I only play a 5 start body language expert on Realgm.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

Whatever chance Nash had as being seen as a good coach went out the window when Kyrie open his mouth. No one could coach this team. Love Nash and think that he'll get out of this situation and make a name for himself

Re: Cam Thomas Rolls Eyes When Asked About Steve Nash
If you parsed the video, here's the sequence of what actually happened:
Reporter: "I was talking to your coach Steve Nash before the game & he's encouraging you to both look for your shot but to look for your teammates as well, you had 7 assists (Cam's eyes sort of rolling)... you laughed there..." Then Cam: "it is what it is."
It's vague what he meant by that comment but it's clear the eye rolling (if you can call it that) was directly in response to looking out for teammates and having 7 assists that game. He had no reaction when the reporter mentioned Nash.
I'm sure he'll clarify but, despite the click-baiting headline, I don't see this as commentary on Steve Nash. There is no there there.

I noticed the guy in the black shirt behind him was talking to someone off camera... Do you think he was finding out about the KD trade? Or just ordering a Chili Dog with extra onions and an ice cold Genesee?

If I had to guess, Nash and him probably have gotten into it about him being too much of a chucker. Cam was a great scorer at LSU, but really struggled to share the ball and involve his teammates. Dude's a ballhog.
I know people keep saying that we can't assume anything here, but it seems pretty easy to read between the lines here.

I think it’s a clumsy way of saying basically to improve your decision making with the ball.

Lol, he couldn't have said anything more vague ('it is what it is') and the gesture he made couldn't really be more ambiguous (can't even tell the general emotion there), but realgm will still spin this out for another 8 pages cuz see we got that intuition and all know what he really really means.

I think the op is reaching for something not there.
On a side note Cam Thomas is prob one of the best scorers coming out of highschool in the past two decades no exaggeration. He will be a household name in the nba soon.

I don’t know. Rolling your eyes and having an obvious sarcastic laugh to a question and then responding with “it is what it is” doesn’t seem vague at all to me.
Heck even the reporter followed up with the, why’d you laugh.

Re: Cam Thomas Rolls Eyes When Asked About Steve Nash
I don't get the hate. Nash hasn't even been coach long and he's learning. So if he and this Cam guy does have a issue I'm sure they can work it out over time..that is if this Cam doesn't get himself traded/released, demoted to G-league. or signs else where. I don't know anything about him so I can't really predict it.

There was nothing annoying about that question, and it's immature and ignorant to blame the media for everything.

No, it's just a recognition of how their job works in the modern context. There are many possible reasons here, so an alternative to him beefing with his coach is appropriate. To your point, not all media is malicious but we live in an era where the negative story is better than the positive. It is what it is.

The two things are unrelated. Yes, the media often thrives on conflict and negativity, but the reporter's question in this case was neither of those. It's just a popular thing to take a shot at the media no matter what, and that's what's dumb.
