I'd say NFL for sure and you should watch a lot of Tennessee Titans games.

Edit: QB hardly does anything for them, right up your alley.

I assume when you say you watch a lot of football you’re referring to to the non American version. In my experience fans of footballer/soccer can’t stand the pace of American football.

The pace is not an issue, I dislike that the qb controls the offence.

Like a PG?

No, it's not the same thing.

You like running QB's? Lamar Jackson is the best runner (QB) in the league. He plays for the Ravens. The Eagles have Jalen Hurts. He's also a runner. But not nearly as good as Lamar.

Lamar is the modern day Michael Vick. Really fun to watch.

Hurts is a huge focal point of the Eagles offense but he doesn't throw a lot, so it you may still find it enjoyable.

Heck, even Vick's original team, the Falcons, if Mariota wins the starting job, may be a team you want to checkout.

One thing that made football really fun for me is fantasy. If you're into that kind of stuff, it makes every single game and play exciting for the hope that your player will score.

The only problem is that, after some time, every game also becomes a pain to watch because, obviously, your 1st round pick injuries himself at the beginning of the game while a 3rd stringer RB your adversary started out of nowhere has the game of his life..

Close enough that it’s kind of a weird gripe. It’s like complaining about baseball because the pitcher controls the game. Yes, for the most part a QB controls the ball distribution but the offense itself is quite complex in relation to most sports.

I mean, if you're into it.

Joining a fantasy football league makes football watching a lot better. I've never been more than a casual football fan at best, but playing against friends and in my younger days strangers for fantasy football and seeing if I won or not every Sunday made it a lot more interesting.

It gave me a reason to be invested in certain players for certain teams throughout the year. Which specifically if you're Euro and not from those towns that seems like a way to get the personal investment.

Conversely baseball has this too, but they also have like 180 games a year, sometimes twice a day for the same team, and that requires a lot of work. For football following fantasy football and watching those games that affect your fantasy team on Sunday seems way more doable (and again just makes the game a lot of fun).

The other issue is baseball **** sucks. So it's tough to get around that. Rather have you watch the MLS and let us know what you think about the quality of the league and which players can make the cut in a big 5 league in Europe lol.

One thing that baseball and football have in common that annoys me, is that TV game coverage focuses on following the ball and you almost never see the whole field.

In baseball, it's not so bad because so much of the action actually is between the pitcher, catcher and batter. But with football, I feel like the coverage misses most of the game. It makes it hard to learn and observe the defensive schemes and coverages, and offensive play design, blocking schemes and pass routes. So you see things happen, but not necessarily why or how.

Another thing to consider is how you feel about head injuries, which are pretty much constant and universal in football. I won't let my son play football, although I still enjoy watching it. However, I know quite a few people who used to be football fans and no longer watch, as awareness of the prevalence and severity of head injuries has grown.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

Choose between Jai Alai or Sepak Takraw.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

Unrelated but isn't it weird how baseball is like the only sport where the defense always has the ball?

I challenge you to watch a baseball game on tv. The entire game with your full focus. Playoff baseball is a different story. Super exciting. Your answer is clear
