He'd have to apologize regardless. Pretty much NBA apologies are business PR, and no one here would have any idea on how genuine he is in his statement.

At the end of the day NBA athletes are not role models and expecting thousands of players to have the same beliefs as you do is pretty silly regardless of what they say in media.

All this is really going to do is he's not going to be an idiot and air his dirty laundry out if the statement isn't genuine.

He has millions of social media followers and posted this to his public account. Whether intentional or not, it certainly wasn't private. Plus, I don't see a reason why we should be justifying hateful beliefs. Again, I hope that Ant is actually sincere in his apology, but he absolutely shouldn't hold these beliefs nor does anyone have an obligation to forgive him for it.

He did the public PR apology and most likely won't be making the mistake of doing another video for everyone to see, that's about it.

At some point those who stand up for racial equality will have to recognize that also includes the LGBTQ community as well.
