Embiid posts the most in the nba of any player. Yes embiid gets frustrated at times. He thinks he’s a good with the crossover moves with the ball exposing the ball to smaller players to knock it out.
But Hakeem is partially correct embiid should play more bully ball. But Hakeem is also incorrect as well because of illegals defense changes allowing hedging in of long arm defenders to help out on defense more.
Personally I’d like the nba to go back to the old rules for at least one year or illegal defense. The elite centers would have a field day scoring or teams would have field trips to the free throw line shooting 15 free throws a game for illegal defense.
It’s just a different game.
I’m a sixers fan. I remember Charles Barkley (especially in the later sixers and then suns career) just backing down a defender. He keeps waiting and waiting for the double team to come. Teams were paralyzed trying to defense. They MUST COMMIT to the double team and not hedge in. The second the double came in Barkley had two choices. Split it or find the open guy.
