Watching Simmons now it's clear that the guy has significant problems that have yet to be fixed. He's no who he was in the 20-21 season. It's sad really.

He's a tool for telling the truth?

That "Niang guy" has more heart than Ben ever had

Ben Simmons is nothing more than a compulsive liar and people like you are still falling for it. It's quite comical at this point

He's lying? How did he go from 20-21 to now from an on-court perspective?

Why do you think he's so much worse? How is he lying? It's not something he can lie about.

Niang has no heart, that's the point

Ben lied about the reason he passed up that dunk in game 7 against the Hawks in two interviews

He lied about possibly being exposed to Covid and tried to get out of Game 7 against the Hawks

He lied saying Shaq was hating on him when he was just giving him legit criticism

He did a fellow Philadelphian in Michael Blackson dirty as far as breaking guy code

There are other things that he lied about that I'm not going to get into on the internet

We all know that Ben is scared to go the rim so why hasn't he developed a jumpshot to counter the fact that he doesn't attack the rim now? That is the most logical thing to do to help your team and yourself

He doesn't want to help himself to be a better player because he doesn't care about basketball as I have stated many times before. He loves the lifestyle, gaming, money and women

I bet you think there was nothing wrong with what Ben said in his interview with JJ Redick as well :nonono:

They made him the scapegoat for everything...

I would t be surprised if they blame him again this year when the Tri-Force of choke activates and they get bounced early

Having a starter and expected all star entirely not play can really derail a team.

A Nets fan should be all too aware of that.

I’m sure this would hurt Simmons feelings if he cared at all about basketball.

Ben Simmons will not let this slide...
Expect a 6/8/8 revenge game next time he plays the 76ers.

No, Ben Simmons occupied $35M of cap space that the sixers could've used on 2 more role players at least. A role player definitely can say that this makes it very difficult from a team standpoint since other teams have that $35M (or whatever he was making) to spend on real players instead of news stories about back problems and trade requests.

Ben Simmons lacks something major in my opinion....He seriously lacks anger..Dude is just pitying himself at this point instead of absorbing all this crap and just going all out.

Like where the **** is the anger dude? You gonna let Niang talk smack....Might as well retire after the conract expires.

I m sure no GM would want him after the contract expires and he's a free agent..

Probably. Which is crazy. Dont think i've ever seen a player be this mentally destroyed.

and we thought markelle fultz was bad... honestly, sixers need to fire their sport psychology staff.

Agreed. He had a real chance to shape a different narrative on that podcast. Instead, he came across like the douche we all know he is.

The worst part is he is stealing all of that money. If he had any self respect - he would donate at least 90% of it to charity.

It's easy to dislike Ben Simmons but it's even easier to dislike a franchise from Filthy. Can't wait for Boston or Milwaukee to send them packing.

I wasn't expecting Niang to sound like that, he kind of sounds like Vin Diesel.

I think it's more so that everyone here knows he will certainly be used as a scapegoat, even this year, after Embiid has his annual fail-to-deliver performance in the playoffs. Something along the lines of how Simmons wasted his "true" prime years and all that.

All you do is bash Embiid, I really wonder what has he done to you?

I'm not sure it's a 76ers issue or not, but I think this and a few other players in the past really do drive home that having mental health as part of a team's medical staff is really critical and shouldn't be a place teams over look or under allocate money to.

Why is Georges Niang talking about anyone else's game?

When a mx contract player sits out the season, then yes, it does handicap the team.

I’m sure if he wanted to take a shot he could have said much worse because George’s does talk a lot of trash. This just wasn’t an example of that.

He’s not exactly wrong and he’s not a trash talker.

Why all this hate on Ben? He's dealing with something bigger than basketball but still tries to show up to work. He has mental problems and should consider stepping away from the game and asking for a buyout if it's serious. Fix yourself and come back if you can, simple ****.

Lets not forget this choke job either.

Wait till next playoffs, now they got another choke artist in Harden , it’s gonna be epic choke
