Yes it looked like he was talking to the ref, then looked like Booker turned his head slightly talking to Luka. That's when Luka stepped up and got in his face.

Booker making the finals has nothing to do with the conversation when the conversation on which team has the better roster the last few years shouldn't be a question. We could always refresh, what’s the record in their new respective rosters? So far it’s 1-0 Suns. There’s some obstacles for the Mavs to worry about in the playoffs:
What’s the Mavs record against the Clippers, Warriors or the Nuggets since Luka got drafted by Dallas? Spoiler alert, it’s not the best.

1-0 in a close game is a completely insignificant sample size. A close regular season win against a team that embarrassed you is worthless in the s**t talking spectrum. For Booker, this should be a shrug, let’s win the next game and avenge last years loss when it matters.

Probably a lot of Lakers fans are salty that the Suns knocked the heavily favored Lakers in the 2021 playoffs.
