This have to be one of the most uninformed, racially-charged, ignorant remarks I have seen on this board in a while. So much for Bisme’s request for calm. Going along nicely till you started tapping away on your keyboard.

Not sure if you saw my post, I'll quote it here - or maybe you did and that's why you're reframing (which is a good thing):

'But I'd challenge you to look at it from a different lens. I want to ask you: Are you by chance a minority? Or close to a minority (can be race, gender, orientation, etc.)? You don't need to answer, but you've got an answer in mind.

Now, frame it this way...you've got that minority group (yours or otherwise) in mind.

Someone does something 'crazy' (ripping their jersey, supporting a political leader...or jumping into the crowd to fight fans...or pick another 'crazy' behavior) that belongs to your minority group.

Do you say "Let's understand the possible reasons WHY someone did this thing?"

Or

"Must be a [minority] thing..."?

Just asking the question, I won't answer for you.'

We've argued a lot in the past, I'm trying to understand other peoples perspectives more now and encourage others to do the same :D

Luka's not Serbian though.

His father is Serbian. So technically he has Serbian blood lol

I think Luka bout to improve that plus minus - he did a little of it by stat padding during the 50 point blow out against Utah where he played the most minutes in that game… with kyrie out Luka bout to avg 50

Davis is most certainly not on a top 5 list.

In all seriousness, does that game even ‘count’ for MVP discussions? In reality it shouldn’t. It’s not a ‘regular season’ game.

Luka’s tied for first? Seriously, Luka? I’m not even sure if I’d have him 6th ahead of Giannis.

Currently, Luka is number 2 in PPG and top 5 in APG. His team in the top 3 in the West when many predicted Dallas to be a play-in team. His shooting percentage is better this year. Heck, he improved his defense. So, 6? LOL.

He's 7th in EPM, 6th in BPM, and has an on/off for the season of +0.3. Jokic, SGA, Embiid, Haliburton, and LeBron have all been better by any objective measure.

A LeBron MVP at age 40 isn't a farfetched scenario, amazing...

Right now Embiid would be the run away winner for me. But it's way too early to be focusing on that.

Mavs On/Off numbers are something scientists will study 50 years from now. I don't think there is any more bipolar team in the league than the Mavs. Exum was negative some time ago, now he's nr1 on the team with +18.3. Are you really going to tell me that Exum is more impactful overal, a better and more important player than Luka?

If i learned anything is that don't trust Mavs On/Off numbers because a week from now their entire structure could completely change. Another extreme example, Curry hasn't even been that good and he's at +7.7, 4th in the team.

If you go by their On/Off, their best playoff lineup is Curry, Lawson, Lively, Exum, DJJ
