Josh Giddey Cleared of Innapropriate Relationship Allegations

NBA was smart and released this timely on the day everyone is distracted over a trade. Don’t think for one second this means he didn’t do anything. It means the nba paid off the girl to hush up and that’s exactly what she did. I knew that would happen the second Allred became her lawyer. Justice is fair except where money is involved, always remember that.

What is more likely:

1. That the given story is true, and given the circumstances, the family decided that they did not want to further amplify the story and pursue legal action.

2. A schizophrenic conspiracy in which the Newport Beach Police Department colluded with TMZ and the NBA to release the news that the case has been closed on the same day that the Toronto Raptors decided to trade Pascal Siakim to the Indiana Pacers.

A real headscratcher.

Wouldn’t be the first time a Southern California police department was corruptly working with TMZ over an nba player story…

The gap between individuals within a police department illegally selling stories to TMZ for money versus a grand conspiracy suggesting that the NBA is coordinating with TMZ, police departments, and individual teams to orchestrate a grand cover up for the alleged sexual misconduct of a role-player is so unbelievably goofy, that I don't know why you would try to publicly make that equivocation.

The crazy thing is we don't even know how old the girl was because there were two different girls. Or when this was alleged to have occurred. Or what even actually happened, if anything at all. Nobody can tell me whether it was the one born in 2005 or 2007. Because we simply don't know.

Random forum user saying "I'm not completely sold he is a man of the highest character" is a bit different than trying to hang someone.

The problem is the amount of people who proudly declared him a pervert without any actual knowledge of the situation/his character/how he conducts himself. I can say from my observations that he comes across polite/well spoken/calculated/inoffensive. Zero signs of any character problems and zero reason for me to smear him before any actual info comes out. Try to imagine someone you know or even yourself in this situation.

Nobody should have really cared about this in the first place; the age of consent in most US states is 16, and Giddey was what, 21? Even if it wasn't strictly legal in California, that doesn't mean it was a monstrous moral crime. It's not a 40 year old creeping on a high school girl. This is the sort of thing that shouldn't have involved the law at all, and I'm glad to see the girl's family didn't choose to make it a crime.

I haven’t posted that much besides that one interaction. So it was just one day.

When you countrymen (Aussie national team member) says you did it, when you don’t deny it and when there is picture with an allegedly underage person…I think it raises substantial questions.
