Certainly best in the one and done era.
Best since Duncan's overall I'd say.

Wemby doing this in only 29 mpg is what’s really nuts. His Per-36 numbers are insane for a 19-20 year old.

Yep. And just for context, Victor's BLK% is at 10.0 for the season. BLK% is an estimate of the percentage of opponent two-point field goal attempts blocked by the player while he was on the floor. That number dwarfs the numbers for even peak Robinson (7.4), Hakeem (7.0), Mutombo (8.8, next best 7.5), Eaton (9.2) and whoever you can think of. The only one I could see who had an even higher BLK% than Victor was Manute Bol who peaked at 10.8. Note that Victor since starting Center (52 Games) has a BLK% of 10.7, virtually tying Bol in that category.

To be fair, it bears mentioning that Victor indeed blocks some 3s – more than Centers of the past – and benefits a bit from that when calculating his BLK%. But that's most likely not closing the gap that exists between him and some other prolific shot blockers from the past (maybe that one Mutombo season and peak Eaton would end up being fairly close at least compared to full-season Victor).

On a related note, nobody should be surprised to see Victor's block numbers and percentages go mostly down from here. It's certainly possible that he'll improve a bit but as teams become even more afraid of challenging him at the rim, his block numbers are likely to become less impressive while his rim protection impact increases. That's the case for a lot of prolific shot blockers. (Most shot blockers also become more selective in terms of when to go for blocks and when to stay away or contest without trying to block the shot but I feel like Victor is already not chasing blocks, his foul rate is already very low for a Rookie Center and he already gets a lot of his blocks without jumping high or even at all, so I don't expect him to have to adjust nearly as much as others in that regard).

Blake Griffin?

23/12/4 as a rookie, besides the blks from Wemby, this definitely competes with best Rookie seasons.

Most already knew it, but this makes the debate as to who the next face of the NBA is once LeBron and Steph retire so funny. There is a 7'5'', humble, likeable and insanely marketable alien roaming around the league and (some) people are asking whether Tatum and Edwards can fill the void.

That was one of the best rookie seasons ever though.
I don't see how it being the same franchise diminishes what Wemby is doing.

Is Robinson top 10 all time? Top 5? If wemby isn't even on his level why the hell we talking about him as a future goat?

Luka is the next face of it. Wemby is way too nice, polite and bland to carry a brand.

The fact that this is just the tip of the iceberg is crazy. He is still figuring out what he can do in this league.

The league has about 3-4 (if that) more years then it's going to be his.

Wembanyama is, allegedly, already third when it comes to social media interactions, what exactly makes you think he is too nice or bland? Not to mention there is an Olympics this summer, in his own damn country. If France markets this right, chances are very much he'll grow to global superstardom this very year.

He’s not exciting, not yet anway, not in the way dancing or chase down blocking lebron was. He just puts up stat lines that are nice to google the next day

Wemby has significantly more engagement with fans on social media than Luka who is obviously amazing. The NBA has been a lot more aggressive with their marketing of wemby than Luka
