Jordan has the record for beating the most 60 win teams in the playoffs:
Jordan 7-2
Shaq 4-4
Duncan 3-5
Kobe 2-5
Kobe beat 26 50 win teams in the playoffs...(Is that the record?)

Nah, it’s not unusual for Robin to benefit from Batman. Kobe has more than Shaq, Pippen has more than MJ.
Except pippen was a robin his whole career. Kobe wasn't. Nice try tho.
Kobe was Robin or worse for the first 8 years of his career, and outside that period he was only relevant from 08 to 12. In that time his team beat ten 50 win teams, one of which was the Rockets missing both their stars, so it's really only nine teams. Hardly amazing. He was on the most stacked team, obviously he was going to beat a bunch of 50 win teams. I'm more impressed by the guys who beat 50 win teams when they're not supposed to. Aside from how arbitrary the stat is, it's also silly. You don't think other guys like Duncan and Lebron didn't beat a tonne of 50 win teams?

There were more 50 win teams back then
Less talent, less load management, league was more top heavy and bottom heavy than current
Good teams abused bad teams. Bench’s played less minutes and stats played more. Talent was more centralized
