Re: Predict an unexpected trade/signing which will happen this offseason
James Dolan gets more involved in Knicks operations again. Isiah Thomas is hired in double function as Headcoach and General Manager. He trades "those Villanova guys" (Brunson, Hart, DiVincenzo) for Zion Williamson and whatever the Pelicans want to make the trade work (cap space from their side, few first rounders from the Knicks, sign and trade of Anunoby, etc.). He adds Eddy Curry and Jerome James to his staff as mentors for Zion. Zion shows up to training camp with a weight of 400lb after spending the summer testing and rating all the Pizza places in New York that Dave Portnoy has reviewed in the last 8 years, his catchphrase is "all full pies they have on the menu, everyone knows the rules".

OKC pushes all in on Joel Embiid. Embiid asks out after disastrous Philly off season.
10 x 1st round picks/Wallace/Dieng/Hendricks/Kessler to Philly
Giddey/Jaylin Williams/#12 to Utah (Utah puts more win now pieces around Lauri)
CP3 returns to OKC on min deal
OKC
SGA/Dort/Jalen Williams/Chet/Embiid

- Miles Bridges will sign with the Lakers.
- Toronto will chose not to activate Bruce Brown's contract clause, he will somehow be back in Denver as a FA.
- Houston will trade 2 of their 6 young guys (Sengun, Green, Smith, Whitmore, Eason, Thompson) plus picks in order to go for an all-in move.
Lakers have no cap space to afford Bridges.
Are you predicting a sign n trade Bridges for Dlo?
I don't know at the moment, it might be, yes.
It could be a 3 way too, perhaps with DLo going to Orlando (there was a wiretap article yesterday mentioning that, btw).
I just have this feeling that Bridges will somehow force his way there to Los Angeles.
I might be wrong though... it's just a hunch feeling, that's all.

The Bucks will trade Brook Lopez.
He's on a 24mil expiring deal.
People think he will retire in Milwaukee along with Antetokounmpo and Middleton.
It won't happen.
I have the feeling that the Bucks want Antetokounmpo and Middleton to retire there as iconic figures but i don't think they have Lopez on the same tier of their culture.

Spurs sign TJ McConnell and he becomes a borderline All Star as they make the playoffs

Re: Predict an unexpected trade/signing which will happen this offseason
Knicks Nets bury the hatchet, execute 3-way trade to get players they covet
Main framework.
Knicks get Mikal Bridges
Nets get Donovan Mitchell
Cavs get Julius Randle, a Knicks draft asset, a Nets draft asset
Knicks get the last Villanova infinity stone in Mikal, double down on their emaculate vibes, still keep some powder dry for another move.
Nets upgrade their star from Bridges to Mitchell (who wants to be in NY area), then figure it out from there. I can see them also expanding deal to get Jared Allen bcak, and they got some tasty Phoenix picks to barter with.
Cavs look to mix it up, move on from Mitchel, get win-now player in Randle, who i think fits fantastically next to Mobley, they also move Jared Allen (back to nets in same deal? other deal?) and build around Mobley/Randle/Garland core. Cavs have added flexibility with picks to build a more cohesive roster (current group is a clunky fit)
Summary: All 3 teams make moves to help balance there roster and stay competitive now (Brooklyn has incentive to win now due to not owning most of their own picks, plus they have a history of win-now moves)

Why would the Suns do that lol
I'm not saying it's something I would do, but Phoenix needs a real PG something awful and they have more than enough shooting to think that it might work.

WOW. Not even a free agent. That would be unexpected.
I was using bbrefs salary chart, which doesn't have anything for Conley.
Also, just let the joke work.

Judging by his in game adjustments and when he speaks, it's easy inferable that Malone is low IQ. I was thinking of this and would love for this to happen.

Despite being on the edge of breaking through the eastern conference, the Orlando Magic make absolutely no trades whatsoever.
