Never heard that before, thats even weirder than having China... NBA will sleep with a devil, just to have more money, it is pretty sad, especially from a league that is allegedly so pro social justice, human rights etc.

?

What are you talking about? It’s pretty common in baseball to have split squads. They probably just want to get more runs in for more dudes. I don’t think it’s a revenue thing bro

Well, ok, how common is to have split squads in the NBA? That's what I speak off, what does Baseball have to do with this? I cant recall franchise gaving 2 squads like that, maybe I don't remember sonething?

Yeah, thats what I mean, it is surprising to me to see such a thing. As for China, they weren't related yo Kings having two teams, I am just not a fan of China as a country these days, I am sure I am not the single one, and seeing NBA partner with them exclusively, and more that with anyone else, is upsetting.

NBA get massive revenue from CN and really have shown no interest in divesting from that market (the NBA is pretty hungry for any market, human rights issues aren't really their purview despite having players take stands on social justice issues in the USA, it's marketable...) And yes, it is not a great look.

As for splitting the teams, the only time I can recall was a few summer leagues' ago (back in the day!). Probably just 2 or 3 years ago honestly, but Utah split into two squads at their Utah Summer League (Blue/White -- aside, it was discussed somewhere either in this thread or the offseason thread). They fielded a large roster of camp invites and ex-10 contracts.

Then, a team needed to be included to fulfill the logistics of playing China, so without bringing in another team, like PHX, or LAC, the Kings have stepped up to field the challenge. Good on them.
Cheers

He's showing the traits that got him drafted though. Unselfish, team player, plays hard, competes, not a ball stopper.

Basically, things everyone does when they have no talent. I know, i have been there. I was play hard, ball moving machine, never got fully guaranteed contract tho.

P.S. I sm watching Olympic qualifiers, games that matter. Enjoy Bronny tho, aint judging, well, maybe a little.

Did K-necht choose #4 because it sounds like Connect 4?
