I don't know who's the GOAT of tennis and I don't really care, but Djokovic was amazing today. It was his last chance to get an Olympic gold and I honestly didn't think he had a chance against Alcaraz. That was one of the best tennis matches I've ever seen in my life. Hats off to him for pulling out a vintage performance when he needed it most.

Novak will always have my deepest respect for telling the Covid Cartel to stick it up their ass. Glad he won the Gold Medal.

He already was the GOAT for a while now. This Gold is just the cherry on top.

Alcaraz has a shot at knocking Djoker off his throne. He's off to a good start but still got a long ways to go.

I've had him as my GOAT for years. Highest career winning %, highest winning % against top 10 players by far, most single slams.

Between 2008 and 2012, when all of them where kinda prime ( late prime for fed )

NADAL: 4 RG 2 WB 1 US 1 AUS total = 8
DJOKOVIC: 1 Wb 1 US 3 Aus total = 5
FEDERER: 1 RG* 2 Wb 1 Aus total= 4

*nadal was injured

Head to head in grand slam finals.

Nadal 11 vs djokovic 7
Nadal 10 vs Federer 4
Djokovic 11 vs federer 6

sorry but "undisputed" goat my ass.

Novak’s prime did not start at 2008. Why you got to lie man.

Where would you say is the better matchup of primes? even if its a two year range. These matter a lot with rankings, I wanna know which match i should go back and watch.

I remember the Wimbledon final in 08’ and thinking it was the greatest match ever in real time. Djokovic va Nadal at the Aussie Open a few years later was close. We didn’t know how good we had it the last 20 years with these guys.

Plus, if he hadn’t have done that, we wouldn’t have gotten to witness maybe one of the greatest aus open championship matches in recent memory - Nadal comeback vs Medvedev 2 sets down. Might be Rafa’s greatest win of his career when you consider the circumstances.

He also doesn’t have near the competition. This current group is very mediocre sans Alcaraz and sinner. A dude like Zverev who is top 5 wouldn’t sniff the top 10, 10 years ago. Taylor Fritz is advancing deep. He would have been in the 20s or even 30s.

I'm a Fed fanboy, but the Djoker hate is insane. I think it mostly comes from all of the Fed and Nadal fans who never thought Djoker would surpass them both.

Congrats on finally getting that Gold medal. He earned it the hard way, beating an incredible player in Alcaraz at the ripe age of 37.

LOL, he kind of owns Nadal and Federer head to head, the competition argument doesn't really hold up.

Not to mention, Federer's top competition for years was Andy Roddick, a big slow American who had a big serve and a big forehand and not much else...then Nadal and Djokovic showed up, and he stopped winning nearly as consistently. Weak competition is the biggest argument against Federer, not Djokovic.

And I love Federer, I'd take him over Nadal all day, but men's tennis was weak as hell when he started dominating.

I was talking about Alcaraz. I see this current generation pretty weak compared to the past 30 years. You had dudes like Tsonga and Stan the Man who were barely top 5...they would clean up today.

I do thin Alcaraz is a beast but it's tough to compare vs. 15 years ago

He is behind Nadal and federer.

he has only taken advantage of the other two being older and with poor health that made them miss a lot gs.

Accomplishments wise, i think he is. But he's an anti-vaxxer so he's never going to be liked in perpetuity. LOL

Just because you say things, doesn't make it true.
