Ah, so sportswashing has arrived in the NBA. Wait until one of those countries buys an NBA team and completely breaks the league's competitiveness by outspending everyone else because they have unlimited money. They then can't be sanctioned by league rules because they can hire the best lawyers and win any legal challenges to their supremacy. Just like in the Big 5 European fútbol leagues.

Nothing you can do. Money talks and the Arab countries just took it to the extreme. That said even in soccer those Arab countries are getting some decent players but the real competition is still in Europe. You don't see guys in their prime like Mbappe moving to Saudi. The current European season is just as entertaining as it has been before, and no one cares about Mahrez, Mitrovic, Neymar etc. anymore. Even Ronaldo people barely pay attention to.

If you are not competing at the highest level, people aren't going to care.

The game doesn't matter at all, but it's pretty distressing how terrible Taylor Hendricks and Keyonte George and Walker Kessler have looked.

(John Collins also has been awful, but that matters less for the Jazz's future)

Collier might turn out the be the Jazz's best true point guard. Keyonte is more of a self-creating combo.
Cody Williams is keeping up with small guards defensively, which is nice.
Brice Sensabaugh is moving much better and looks good physically.
Lauri looks good.
Clarkson is a decent player when he plays under control.

Keyonte's fine. He just isn't the guy you want dominating the ball right now. Maybe if the team were better he could get away with it.

This isn’t how the league works. If any owner tried to pull this the league would force them to sell the team. You don’t think Steve Ballmer doesn’t have the money to try something like this ($122b net worth)? Every transaction has to go through the league office and they wouldn’t approve any of them. It’s ridiculous to think any team could skirt the rules in the way you’re implying.
